Object:Explore the expression of TrxR1 and P65 in advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and analyze its correlation with clinical features and prognosis. Methods: The tissue specimens of 135 patients with advanced NSCLC from January 2013 to October 2016 are collected from Hunan Cancer Hospital, wherein the adjacent tissues of 34 patients are selected for comparison, with complete clinical and pathological data of all patients, and no patient having been treated surgically.Apply immunohistochemistry for detecting the expression of TrxR1 and P65 in NSCLC patients and analyze its correlation with age, sex, pathological type, smoking index, gene mutation, therapy effect and survival prognosis.Results:(1)The positive expression rate of TrxR1 in advanced NSCLC is 70.37%(95/135),and it is mainly expressed in cytoplasm, but also in nucleus.(2)P65 shows a positive expression rate of 48.15%(65/135)in advanced NSCLC and is mainly expressed in cytoplasm and nucleus.(3)The correlation analysis of immunohistochemistry between them was r = 0.668.p= 0.000,and the expression of them has positive correlation.(4)Compared with the high expression group,TrxR1 low expression group has a significant longer prognosis, with PFS 9m vs 3.1m,p =0.000,and OS 19 m vs 12 m,p =0.020.(5)Single factor analysis shows that PFS and OS are related with the expression degree of TrxR1.(6)Multiple factor analysis also shows that PFS and OS are closely related with the expression degree of TrxR1.Conclusions:1.TrxR1 and P65 are highly expressed in the cancer tissues of advanced NSCLC patients, with high consistency;2.There is a correlation between the expression of TrxR1 and P65 and survival prognosis of patients;3.Single and multiple factor analysis show that the prognosis of advanced NSCLC patients are closely related with TrxR1 expression.
