Clinical Observation Of The Tiaogan Acupuncture On The Treatment Of The Elderly Women With Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveTo compare the clinical effect between tiaogan acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture for middle-aged and elderly women who have knee osteoarthritis,explore the theoretical basis of this study.Through this study to improve the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in middle-aged and elderly women with knee osteoarthritis.MethodsSixty patients who suitable for this project and with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into X group and Y groug.Specific methods are as follows,X group treat with Tiao Gan Acupuncture,Y group treat with conventional acupuncture refer to national teaching meterial of traditional chinese medicine.X group of the main liver and spleen by acupoint acupuncture treatment,Y group accord to the second century,the second edition of the National Higher Education College of Chinese medicine teaching materials acupuncture treatment in the "Bi Syndrome" acupuncture points for treatment,two groups Selected acupuncture points are based on the national promulgated in the new century,the National College of Traditional Chinese Medicine planning materials,“Meridian Point Learning”to determine acupuncture points acupuncture direction,the depth of acupuncture,The efficacy was assessed after eight weeks.The differences in the curative effect between group X and group Y were evaluated by observing changes in knee pain,stiffness,function improvement,estradiol and quality of life in estrogen before and after treatment between group X and group Y Whether it is statistically significant.ResultsAfter eight weeks of statistical processing,The score of VAS?the pain,stiffness,joint activity and global score of WOMAC?Estradiol changes?quality of life scale SF-36 Points,in the both group were all better than before(P<0.05).After treatment,The score of VAS?the pain,stiffness,joint activity and global score of WOMAC?estradiol changes?quality of life scale SF-36 Points in the X group were significantly better than those of the Y group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%in the X group and 83.33%in the Y group,the difference was significant(P<0.05),Indicating that;The clinical effect of X group on knee osteoarthritis was superior to that of group Y.ConclusionX and Y treatment have clinical curative effect for middle-aged and elderly women who have knee osteoarthritis,But the clinical effect of Tiaogan acupuncture therapy(X)is better than conventional acupuncture(Y),it is worth further exploration and clinical promotion.
