| Objective: Although the morbidity of cancers has been rising with people's awareness of cancers has deepening and its diversification,diversification and comprehensive treatments,patients' survival rate,survival time and quality of life are significantly improved.Influenced by modern biological,psychological and social medical model,the current treatment of tumors is not only satisfied with the extension of life,but also includes prevention and treatment of related diseases,promotion of patients' recovery on main functions and maintenance of proper self-care ability,to improve the survival quality,however,among many factors that affect the life quality of cancer patients,cancer-related fatigue(CRF)is one of the most common causes,although a large number of medical staffs have done a great deal of work on the study of cancer-induced fatigue,there's no standardized clinical treatment and nursing programs due to the unclear etiology and pathogenesis.Acupuncture and moxibustion as an important part of medicine in our motherland,has been regarded as an effective method of cancer treatment for a long time,which is widely recognized both at home and abroad,especially in the treatment of complications of cancers,the related literature and data also showed that it also has a unique therapeutic effect on CRF.This study will provide a safe and effective treatment with less side effects,and the relevant clinical work and scientific research with corresponding basis for breast cancer patients' treatment of CRF,by acupuncture at original acupoints.Methods: Recruited 60 patients in oncology hematology outpatient and ward of Foshan Hospital of TCM affiliated to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from Jan.2017 to Mar.2018,according to relevant diagnostic,inclusion and exclusion criteria.Divided them into treatment group(acupuncture coupled with basic treatment)and control group(basic treatment)with 30 patients in each of them,using simple randomized grouping method.Adopt Piper Fatigue Scale-Chinese version,Hamilton Depression Scale,Karnofsky's Score(percentile functional status score table)and TCM Symptom Evaluation to evaluated the observational index.Evaluated patients with Piper Fatigue Scale,Hamilton Depression Scale,Karnofsky's Score and TCM Symptom Evaluation and recorded them on the 1st and 14 th observation days before the acupuncture separately,analyzed and compared the relevant data with SPSS25 software according to the standard of curative effect,to draw the corresponding objective conclusion.Results: 1.Difference of Piper Fatigue Scale total score in the treatment group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05)before and after the treatment,which was same between these two groups after the treatment,indicating that both these two groups had clinical efficacy,which of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group.2.In TCM symptom improvement of the control group,0 case were cured,14 cases were effective,14 cases were markedly effective,0 case were ineffective and the total effective rate was 93.33%;which of the control group,0 case were cured,4 cases markedly effective,6 cases were effective,20 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 33.33%.Statistics showed that effective rates between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both the control group and treatment group were effective after the treatment,the total effective rate was statistically significant(P <0.01).Therefore,TCM symptom improvement of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group overall.3.Although the value of KPS Score in the treatment group before and after the treatment were changed,whose difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);neither as that in the control group,compared the KPS Score between two groups after the treatment,whose difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that acupuncture at original acupoints did not have significant effect on KPS Score before and after treatment of patients in this study.4.Hamilton Depression Scale of two groups both before and after the treatment were decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared Hamilton Depression Scale between two groups after the treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both the depression of patients in two groups were releasedafter the treatment,and which in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group.Conclusion: Acupuncture at original acupoints can effectively reduce the value of Piper Fatigue Scale and Hamilton Depression Score of breast cancer patients with cancer-related fatigue,which can significantly improve the TCM symptoms of breast cancer patients and can satisfy patients' higher requirement of the life quality,this method can be one of the methods for clinicians in routine clinical work thanks to it's effective,safe and easy without obvious side effects and adverse reactions. |
