Studies Of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss With The Influence Factors And The Constitution In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:The original data have been collected by questionnaire survey in patients with SSHL and we determine the patients constitutional type type by scale.Then,we summarized the susceptible constitution characteristic and social influence factors by the statistical analysis;we formulated corresponding prevention and control program to provide the reference for clinical prevention and treatment of SSHL.As a breakthrough point,Constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine can provide the reference for clinical prevention and treatment.Methods:According to the constitution theory of TCM,base on the <Constitution In Chinese Medicine Questionnaire>(CCMQ)of professor Wang’s constitution in chinese medicine of rule of nine to research.This study is divided into the study group and the control group.As for study group,A questionnaire survey was conducted,aimed at 150 cases which see a doctor in ENT department of Shenzhen Hospital of TCM.They need to answer the questions from <Constitution In Chinese Medicine Questionnaire>(CCMQ)and general data(details as each attached list).Another group in total 150 cases would be from the person with the same and age as the research group,They need to answer the questions from CCMQ and general data.Judging the type of constitution according to the standard of grading.The normal type is gentleness type,the other eight kinds of type is pathological type.The analysis of statistical and the questionnaire data,using the SPS19.0 for frequency analysis of descriptive analysis toexplain the distribution of constitution type.The factors affecting the incidence of SSHL,the factors affecting the prognosis of SSHL and the characteristics of the TCM Constitution of the patients with SSHL will be analyzed by SPSS software.Results:1.There was no significant difference in sex ratio between the two groups by chi square test.2.In 150 cases of SSHL,there were 14 cases(9.0%)in the age of 21-30 years,21cases(14.3%)in the 31-40 year old age group,49 cases(32.7%)in the 41-50 year old age group,39 cases(25.7%)in the 51-60 year old age group,and27 cases(18.3%)in the 61-70 year old age group.3.A survey of dietary habits、sleep habits and emotional problems:P>0.05,The study group and the control group are statistically significant,OR >1,Diet,sleep disorders and emotional problems are risk factors for SSHL.4.The incidence of SSHL are related to qi-depression type,yin-deficiency type and blood-stasis type.Nine types of constitution were taken as independent variables and SSHL as dependent variable.The results showed that the relationship between qi-depression type,yin-deficiency type,blood-Stasis type,gentleness type and SSHL are statistically significant under the 0.05 test level.The dangerous constitution of SSHL are qi-depression,yindeficiency and blood-stasis.The protective constitution of SSHL is gentleness type.5.The constitution’s distribution of audiometric curve:The main constitution of slow drop type are qi-deficiency,yang-deficiency,and qi-depression.The main constitution of steep drop type is qi-depression,yin-deficiency and wet-heat type.A flat type of physical distribution is more uniform.The total deafness type is more complex.Most of them are biased constitution.Bloodstasis,Qi-deficiency,wet-heat,qi-depression,yin-deficiency and yangdeficiency are all more proportions,especially the blood-stasis type.6.The constitution’s distribution of different course of disease:The constitution of the disease in one week are qi-depression,yin-deficiency,wet-heat,phlegm-wetness.The constitution of the disease more than one week is qi-depression,yin-deficiency,qi-deficiency,Yang-deficiency and bloodstasis.7.Chi square test was performed for patients with SSHL in terms of sex,diet,sleep,mood,merger of underlying diseases,audiometric curve and duration of disease.The results showed that the sex comparison is P>0.05.The rest of the test results are P<0.05,which are statistical significance.Conclusions:1.The factors affecting the onset of SSHL are age,eating habits,sleep conditions,and mood.The onset age of SSHL is 41-50 years.There is no significant difference in the incidence of men and women.Lack of diet,sleep disorder and poor mood are all risk factors for SSHL.2.The factors influencing the prognosis of SSHL include diet,sleep,mood,whether combined basic diseases,types of audiometric curve,course of disease and so on.Sex does not affect the prognosis of sudden deafness.3.Constitution characteristics of SSHL in Chinese Medicine:SSHL is mostly biased constitution.The dangerous constitution of SSHL is qi-depression,yindeficiency and blood-stasis.The protective constitution of SSHL is gentleness type.The constitution of different course of disease is different.There are also differences in the constitution of different types of audiometric curve.
