Objective: The retrospective research on Professor Liu Tiejun's liver disease treatment case by TCM purgation is conducted by using the TCM inheritance support system(V2.5).The Professor Liu Tiejun's academic thoughts, clinical experience and medicine law of liver disease treatment by purgation is initially explored to further improve the clinical effects of TCM treatment on liver disease and enrich the TCM treatment theory and academic level of liver disease.Method: In this paper, the main research method includes the document research, data mining and extraction. For the document research, the literature arrangement is conducted mainly for the academic papers, famous articles and meeting lectures and other documents published by the Professor Liu.For the data mining,by studying the Professor Liu's clinical prescriptions during the graduate student period, the liver disease treatment cases diagnosed and treated by Professor Liu in the outpatient office from October 2016 to December 2017 are completely collected and sorted and screened strictly in accordance with the diagnosis standards, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria to establish the data mining methods of medical case collection, storage database and application software by using the TCM inheritance support system(V2.5)for complete clinical data of 300 medical cases which meet the conditions, such as the statistical report module, data analysis module, association rules and complex system entropy clustering etc.,and to analyze and research the Professor Liu Tiejun's academic thoughts and medicine law of liver disease treatment by purgation of TCM.Results: The data mining statistics for 300 medical cases have the following statistical results:1.Gender and age distribution: in these medical cases, there are 231 male patients and 69 female patients with the male-female ratio of approximately 3:1;where most of patients are40-59 years old, accounting for 48.3%;2.Symptom and tongue vein analysis: 96 symptoms are counted in total, where the top three symptoms with the highest occurrence frequency include the yellow urine, weakness and hypochondriac pain;the tongue vein with the highest frequency is reddened tongue with yellow fur and slippery pulse;3.Diagnosis statistics: the western medicine diagnosis mainly focuses on the hepatitis hepatocirrhosis and chronic viral hepatitis type b cases, accounting for 65.6%,where the symptoms with the higher TCM frequency include the accumulation, liver fixity, liver cancer, jaundice and stomachache;4.Syndrome type analysis: 9 syndrome types are extracted in total, where the liver depression and spleen deficiency accounts for 27.0%,the liver and gallbladder damp-heat accounts for 20.0%,the blood-stasis obstruction syndrome accounts for 11.3%,the yin deficiency of liver and kidney accounts for 9.5%,the yang deficiency of spleen and kidney accounts for 8.7%,the syndrome of lingering pathogen due to deficient vital qi accounts for7.7%,the Qi-stagnation and blood stasis accounts for 7.5%,the deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach accounts for 5.0% and the internal heat due to yin deficiency accounts for 3.7%;5.Prescription analysis: the Professor Liu flexibly and widely use the drugs and 136 traditional Chinese medicines are used in 300 diagnosis treatments, where the frequently used medicines include: rheum officinale, radix bupleuri,Chinese angelica, liquorice, pericarpium citri reticulatae, radix rehmanniae recen, radix paeoniae alba, fructus aurantii,Ligusticum wallichii, bighead atractylodes rhizome, rhizoma cyperi, jasmine, trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim,Astragalus membranaceus, rhizoma alismatis,Coptis chinensis, the fruit of Chinese wolfberry and semen plantaginis etc.;6.Four properties and five tastes distribution: in the drug property, the cold property accounts for 40.2%,the warm property accounts for 30.4%;in the drug taste, the sweetish taste accounts for 28.5%,the pungent taste accounts for 22.4% and the bitter taste accounts for 25.1%;7.Dosage statistics of rheum officinale: in the prescription, the rheum officinale 3g has the highest use frequency, accounting for 67.0% of the total medical cases;the rheum officinale 12 g has the lowest use frequency, accounting for 3.3% of the total medical cases;8.High-frequency drug combination and association rule analysis: the high-frequency drug combinations include “radix bupleuri, rheum officinale”,“Angelica sinensis, rheum officinale”,“liquorice, rheum officinale”,“liquorice, radix bupleuri, rheum officinale”;the liver disease prescription association rule with confidence coefficient 1 includes “radix bupleuri-> rheum officinale”,“Angelica sinensis-> rheum officinale”,“liquorice-> rheumofficinale” etc.;9.Deep analysis of core prescription drug combination: under the condition that the support degree is 20% and the confidence coefficient is equal to or greater than 0.8,the drug combinations frequently used in purgation treatment of fatty liver include: rheum officinale, radix gentianae, jasmine,Scutellaria baicalensis, radix bupleuri, radix rehmanniae recen, semen plantaginis, rhizoma alismatis, licorice,Angelica sinensis;the drug combinations frequently used in chronic viral hepatitis treatment include: rheum officinale, radix paeoniae alba,Ligusticum wallichii, radix bupleuri, immature bitter orange, pericarpium citri reticulatae, liquorice, rhizoma cyperi etc.;the drug combinations frequently used in hepatitis hepatocirrhosis treatment include: rheum officinale,Angelica sinensis, radix rehmanniae recen, peach kernel, radix bupleuri, red flower, radix paeoniae rubra, radix achyranthis bidentatae,Platycodon grandiflorum, pericarpium citri reticulatae etc.;the drug combinations frequently used in liver cancer purgation treatment include: rheum officinale, centipede,Sculellaria barbata,Polygonum cuspidatum,Gekko japonicus,Chinese lobelia;rheum officinale, dogwood,Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata,Astragalus membranaceus,Angelica sinensis, semen coicis, turtle shell;rheum officinale, radix bupleuri, fructus aurantii,Ligusticum wallichii, liquorice;rheum officinale, the fruit of Chinese wolfberry,Radix Ophiopogonis, szechwan Chinaberry fruit etc.;10.Medicine law analysis taking the liver disease fever as the main symptom: under the condition that the support degree is 20% and the confidence coefficient is equal to or greater than 0.6,the drug combinations frequently used in purgation treatment of liver disease include:rheum officinale,Astragalus membranaceus, white atractylodes rhizome, pericarpium citri reticulatae, cimicifugae foetidae, radix bupleuri,Angelica sinensis,Codonopsis pilosula and honey-fried licorice root.Conclusions:1.In the purgation method, the Professor Liu Tiejun uses the fitting between rheum officinale and cold and cool qi-regulating drugs or drugs with warm property to realize drastic purgation, cold purgation and warm purgation and realize the light purgation, mild precipitation and lubricant purgation by adjusting the rheum officinale dosage and nourishing yin demulcent;2.The Professor Liu dynamically combines the purgation method with the modern medicine “enterohepatic circulation” and puts forward the academic thoughts of sthenia syndrome attack, asthenia syndrome treatment and tonification and purgation in combination of asthenia and sthenia mixure;3.The Professor Liu's medicine law in purgation method includes flexible using of rheum officinale, attaching importance to classical prescription combination and properly using the “pair drugs” and “combined drugs”;4.The data mining can effectively summarize and extract the academic thoughts and medicine law of famous TCM doctors to make the famous TCM doctors' experience more intuitive, understandable, make the operation repeatable and help to inherit and promote the famous TCM doctors' experience.
