| Objection To clarify the importance of standardized treatment and follow-up of glaucoma patients in the control and management of glaucoma.Methods From January 2016 to June 2016,122 cases of glaucoma patients were diagnosed in the clinic of the Department of glaucoma in our hospital(Patients who have done antiglaucoma surgery were excluded),of which 58 were first visit(patients who are the first visit to the glaucoma specialist clinic,but many other ophthalmology visits have been taken)and 64 were subsequent visit(patients who have many times visiting in a glaucoma specialist outpatient clinic).Recorded medical records and treatment.We investigated the disease control,management,medication and cognition of glaucoma by questionnaires.From January 2016 to June 2016,count the subsequent visited numbers of who have visited in our hospital and done anti-glaucoma surgery by the same surgeon for glaucoma patients referral.Calculate short-term follow-up rate(visit time less than 3 months)and long-term follow-up rate(visit time >3 months).From January 2016 to June 2016,glaucoma patients who have been diagnosed and visited for many times(more than 4)in our hospital with visual field examination.Retrospective analysis visual field changes of the patients.According to the regular visits or not,they were divided into the regular management group(regular review,reexamination interval of 4-6 months,do visual field examinations)and the irregular management group(an irregular review,at least one reexamination interval more than 1 years,and do visual field examinations),and the visual field progress of each group was analyzed.Results 1.The results of outpatient visits: in terms of glaucoma control and management,mergency visits,hospitalization,missed work / missed learning and ocular hypertension higher than 21 mm Hg events over the past 1 years,the proportion of first patients was higher than that visited patients.The proportion of visual field or OCT examination in the first patient was significantly lower than that in the revisited patients.In terms of drug compliance,for the use of reduce IOP drugs,the proportion of the first patients who did not obey the doctor's advice was higher than that of the visited patients,but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the cognition of glaucoma,clearly using of drugs and the need of the knowledge about glaucoma,the visited patients were higher than those of the first patients.The visited patients‘s score of knowledge about glaucoma was 7.7143 + 0.7636,and the first diagnosis was 5.3125 + 0.9274.The patients were significantly higher than the primary patients on score of the knowledge about glaucoma,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.2.Analysis of patients' revisit who have done anti-glaucoma surgery: from January 2016 to June 2016 in our hospital by the same surgeon with glaucoma surgery were 310 cases,short-term(3 months)follow-up rate was 89%,long term(>3 months,less than 1 years)follow-up rate was 27.7%.3.Analysis of field vision progression: regular management group has 38 people,66 eyes,including 7 progress eyes.Irregular management group has 31 people,59 eyes,of which 20 eyes are progressive eye,P=0.002,the difference between two groups is statistically significant.The progress rate of regular management group was 0.0202±0.0285.The rate of visual field development in the irregular management group was-0.0696±0.0832.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The glaucoma specialist clinic is beneficial to the improvement of the cognition of the glaucoma patients and the control of the glaucoma.2.The short-term treatment rate of glaucoma patients in our hospital was higher,the long-term recovery rate decreased obviously,and the follow-up rate decreased with time.3.Regular follow-up can control the progression of glaucoma patients' visual field,and reduce the rate of blindness. |
