Background: Colon cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive system in our country. The morbidity and mortality of colon cancer are increasing year by year.In many patients, the quality of life is significantly decreased and the survival time is shortened. The family increased the obvious economic burden and psychological pressure.Treatment of patients with advanced colon cancer is not only facing the expansion of radical surgery, but also face the postoperative radiotherapy, chemotherapy and the accompanying series of side effects. Therefore, the early detection of colon cancer, early diagnosis and early radical surgery and other treatment implementation, has brought a greater impact on the prognosis of patients. With advances in medical science, continuous development of chemotherapeutic drugs and molecular targeted drugs, and patient awareness of colonoscopy increased, the diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer has been significantly improved. The clinical manifestations of colon cancer with abdominal pain, abdominal mass, changes in stool traits, bowel habits and blood in the change as the main performance. However, due to the increase of young cancer patients in recent years, and no obvious early clinical manifestations of the tumor, some patients at the time of diagnosis has been in the late disease or even with distant metastasis.Early cancer patients are still feasible radical surgery, combined with postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy, for patients with advanced cancer and metastasis, has lost the chance of surgery, and there is no effective treatment. The diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer still have many problems that need to be overcome urgently. On the one hand, the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and tumor cell migration are not clear. Therefore,it is of great value to explore the mechanism and provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer.Complement C1 q / tumor necrosis factor-related protein 6(CTRP6)is one of the members of the CTRP family that is homologous to adiponectin in recent years.CTRP6 is expressed in mammalian adipose tissue, heart, placenta, brain, synovial tissue and the like.In recent years, several studies have found that CTRP6 play a role in the metabolism of fat, glucose metabolism, cardiovascular, inflammatory response, autoimmunity and affect the metastasis of liver cancer and ovarian cancer, but its expression in gastrointestinal cancer still uncertain. Therefore,we investigated whether CTRP6 is related to colon cancer, and its expression in colon cancer and analysis of its relationship with the pathological features, provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer. Methods: Select the date 2016.01.01-2016.12.31 during the period of the QingDao Municipal Hospital pathological diagnosis of colon cancer, colon cancer patients undergoing radical resection in 121 cases as the study.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of CTRP6 in cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues.Statistical software and ?2 test were used to analyze the statistical relationship between CTRP6 expression and count data of patients' sex, age, pathological type, tumor size, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, vasculature metastasis, and nerve invasion.Results:1.CTRP6 expression was positive in the cytoplasm of cancer cells in 108 out of121 colon cancer patients and CTRP6 in the cytoplasm of 13 cancer patients.Negative CTRP6 expression was found in normal non-cancer cells in all 121 colon cancer patients.CTRP6 is highly expressed in colon cancer cells and scarcely expressed in normal non-cancer cells.CTRP6 was not uniformly distributed but rather focally localized in cytoplasm of cancer cells.2.Using statistical Statistical analysis,?2 test analysis of CTRP6 expression and clinicopathological features of colon cancer, the results showed that CTRP6 expressionwith patient's gender, age, tumor size, differentiation, depth of invasion, vascular emboli, nerve invasion, lymph node P value of metastasis were0.704,0.992,0.464,0.875,0.403,0.102,0.821,0.366,respectively,no statistical significance(P > 0.05).Conclusion: CTRP6 is highly expressed in colon cancer tissues, and there was no correlation between the expression of CTRP6 and the patient's gender, age, pathological type, tumor size, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, vasculature metastasis, and nerve invasion.
