Clinical Case Report Of Single-visit Root Canal Treatment With Er,Cr:YSGG

Objective:Select ten patients who needed root canal therapy were treated with waterlase for one-time root canal treatment,reduce the waiting time and frequency of treatment.Then explore the effect of the application of waterlase.Methods:Ten cases with pulpitis or periapical periodontitis from 2015 to 2016 were selected.Five males and five females,aged 21-49 years old.First,the oral clinical examination,taking apical X-ray film,confirmed as pulpitis or periapical periodontitis.Before treatment,based on the X-ray film on the root canal morphology and length of the teeth were initially estimated.Under local anesthesia,Use waterlase tip to open the pulp,probe and clear the root canal,measure the working length of the root canal,shoot the X-ray with file,waterlase irradiate the main and lateral root canal sterilization,dry,confirm exactly filling,restore chewing function.Preoperative,intraoperative,postoperative,six months and a year of follow-up pictures.Results:Cases 1 to 5,had root canal therapy in other hospital,root canal re-treatment,and the apical area of a larger range of inflammation,infection is not easy to control;cases 6,7,curved root canal,infected material removal difficult;Cases 8 to 10,for root canal calcification,root canal is not easy to clear,more than 10 chronic pulpitis or apical periodontal disease,using disposable root canal therapy with waterlase,some patients felt 1 to 2 days after surgery swelling,a sense of oppression,no adverse symptoms,six months,a year after the referral clinical examination was normal,X-ray film showed that the lesion healed well.Conclusion:The use of a water laser to assist the disposable root canal treatment can effectively disinfect and sterilize the root canal,including the lateral branch root canal,promote the healing of the disease,and increase the success rate of treatment.At the same time,the one-time filling can reduce the number of patient visits and time,and reduce two.Sub-infection opportunities,to achieve a good therapeutic effect,so this treatment is worthy of clinical promotion.
