Objective:Throughing the clinical observation of analyzing and summarizing the curative effect of Different acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis by stages,the aim of this study is to develop new ideas for the treatmen of peripheral facial paralysis,search for optimal treatment options,and make it better and widely used in clinical.Methods:60 outpatients and inpatients of peripheral facial paralysis from Pingshun County Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were chosen and randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group used different acupuncture manipulation by stages.The control group were the same with the treatment group in the stages and acupoints,using conventional acupuncture and uniform reinforcing-reducing method,let the needle retain when getting the needling response.10 days for a treatment course,The two groups were treated for 2 courses,were evaluated using House-Brackmann facial nerve grading(H-B standard)and Stennert facial nerve palsy score standard,Before and after the treatment,and using SPSS 16.0 statistics to compare the treatment effects between the two groups and before and after each group.Results:There were no significant differences in the general situation(age,gender,course of disease,the affected side)between the two groups before admission(P>0.05).After treatment,the H-B standard and Stennert standard of the treatment group and the control group were statistically significant compared with before treatment(P<0.01).The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 93.33% and 73.33%respectively.There were significant differences between the two groups in the clinical total effective rate(P<0.05)and the Stennert scale score(P<0.01).Conclusion:Different acupuncture therapy by stages and conventional therapy are both effective for peripheral facial paralysis,and can improve facial nerve function for patients with peripheral facial paralysis.The treatment group was better than the routine acupuncture group in improving the facial nerve function for patients with peripheral facialparalysis,which indicated that the different acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis by stages has definite curative effect,which is worthy of clinical application.
