Objective:Our study aimed to observe the clinical efficacy of preoperative electro-acupuncture on the prevention and treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)after gynecological laparoscopic surgery, and to optimize the treatment mode of clinical acupuncture treatment of PONV.Methods:We selected patients with benign tumors undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery in the gynecological wards of the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April to October of 2017 as subjects. After sample estimation,90 patients were included in the study.and divided into a treatment group(EA)and a control group(routine anesthesia),45 cases in each one.The control group received routine general anesthesia. In the treatment group,on the basis of the scheme as the control group, the electro-acupuncture was used at Neiguan(PC 6)and Zusanli(ST 36)1 day before operation. The incidence and severity of PONV and pain were recorded at 6hours,24hours,48 hours and 72 hours after the operation.Time of initial anal exhaust was also recorded.Results:1.The incidence and severity of postoperative nausea and vomiting in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group at 0-6h and 6-24h after operation.and there was significant difference between the two groups at 0-6h after operation(P<0.05).No nausea and vomiting occurred at 24-48h and 48-72h after operation in both groups.2.The average postoperative initial anal exhaust time in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The VAS scores of postoperative pain in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group. There was a statistically significant difference in the VAS scores between the two groups at 6h postoperatively(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Preoperative electro-acupuncture intervention can effectively prevent the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in gynecologic laparoscopic surgery, fasten the time for first postoperative anal exhaustion, and reduce postoperative pain.2.The electro-acupuncture intervention on the prevention and treatment of PONV in clinical mode is feasible 1 day before surgery, and has the value of clinical promotion.
