Electro-acupuncture Treatment Of Cisplatin-induced Acute Nausea And Vomiting Clinical Studies

ObjectiveTo do the therapeutic evaluation of using electro-acupunctures to therapy the CINV , and to take a discussion about its effect.MethodUsing subsection randomize method to divided 60 patients into two groups treatment group and control group , with the proportion of 1:1. The treatment group is treated by acupuncture with electric simulation,20 minutes one time ,once a day. The control group is treated by the Western medicine . Both of the groups have 5 days long's treatments, then do the therapeutic evaluation of them, basing on the standard of the symptom levels.ResultThe curative effect of the vomiting in the treatment group is that: the cases with dramatic effect are 9, those with effect are 16, those without effect are 5; and in the control group, the cases with dramatic effect are 5, those with effect are 20, those without effect are 5; The total effective rate of the both groups is 83.33%. The curative effect between the two groups are no dramatically different (P>0.05). The curative effect of the nausea in the treatment group is that: the cases with dramatic effect are 3, those with effect are 23, those without effect are 4; and in the control group, the cases with dramatic effect are 1, those with effect are 24, those without effect are 5; The total effective rate of treatment group is 86.67%, which of control group is 83.33%. The curative effect between the two groups are no dramatically different (P>0.05). These show that the treatment group has the similar curative effects as the control group.ConclusionThis therapeutic evaluation verifies that using electro-acupunctures to therapy the CINV has a good healing effect, besides, it has low price, has easy point selection method, has less side effects. So it can be easily widespread at the clinical.
