Objective:To provide theoretical guidance for Chinese clinical medicine,difference of cold and hot property of Taxillus chinensis from different host plants were studied.The host plants,which produce cold,neutral,and hot Chinese medicine were selected.Determination of total flavonoids contents and total alkaloid contents were done.Qualitative analysis of essential oil were done by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,and liquid chromatograms research were done.Animal behavioral experiment?assay of temperature tropism of mice?were done.Methods:Literature research was applied to select host plants,which produce different cold and hot property Chinese medicine.Field collection in Guangxi was applied to collect Taxillus chinensis and it's host plant.Preprocessing was done depend on the corresponding experimental requirements.Al Cl3colorimetry was used to determine the total flavonoid content.The conventional extraction methods of alkaloid preparation were used to prepare the test solution,then iodine-potassium iodide,bismuth potassium iodide,silico tungstic acid and saturated picric acid solution were used to do alkaloid identification.Steam distillation extraction was used to obtain essential oil,then gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to do qualitative analysis of essential oil.HPLC was applied to study the liquid chromatograms of Taxillus chinensis.Cold/hot plates differential method based on biothermodynamics was used to measure and evaluate the temperature tropism of mice which were kidney yang deficiency caused by estradiol benzoate and administered Taxillus chinensis.Results:Salix babylonica L.,Morus alba L.and Cinnamomum cassia Presl were selected as cold,neutral,hot property host plants respectively.And the Chinese medicine producing by host plant were ramulus mori,willow branch,and cassia twig.12 batches of Taxillus chinensis from 3 different cold and hot property host plants and 4 different producing areas were collected.And the Chinese medicine produced by host plants were collected at the same time.Determination of total flavonoids contents,pre-experiment of alkaloid,qualitative analysis of essential oil by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,liquid chromatograms research by HPLC were done in Taxillus chinensis and the Chinese medicine produced by host plants.The measurement and evaluation of temperature tropism of kidney yang deficiency mice,which administered Taxillus chinensis from 3 different cold and hot property host plants was done.?1?The result of determination of total flavonoids contents.The total flavonoids contents?average value of 4 different producing areas?of Taxillus chinensis parasitic in Salix babylonica L.,Morus alba L.,and Cinnamomum cassia Presl were 22.965 mg/g,21.454 mg/g,and 19.914 mg/g?Salix babylonica L.>Morus alba L.>Cinnamomum cassia Presl?,respectively.The total flavonoids contents?average value of 4 different producing areas?of willow branch,cassia twig,and ramulus mori were 6.167mg/g,6.060 mg/g,3.901 mg/g?willow branch>cassia twig>ramulus mori?respectively.The highest total flavonoids content in Taxillus chinensis?parasitic in Salix babylonica L.Yulin?was 24.992 mg/g,and highest total flavonoids content in host plant?cassia twig,Fangcheng port?was7.366 mg/g;the lowest in Taxillus chinensis?Cinnamomum cassia Presl,Fangcheng port?was 16.877 mg/g,and the lowest in host plant?ramulus mori,Fangcheng port?was 2.747 mg/g.?2?The result of pre-experiment of alkaloid.Taxillus chinensis parasitic in Salix babylonica L.and Cinnamomum cassia Presl hadn't seen alkaloid.?3?The result of qualitative analysis of essential oil by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.10 chemical compositions were seen in Taxillus chinensis,parasitic in the three host plants,at the same time;Cinnamaldehyde,?E?-was seen in cassia twig and Taxillus chinensis parasitic in Cinnamomum cassia Presl,and the other samples weren't.?4?The result of liquid chromatograms study.There's difference in content among Taxillus chinensis parasitic in the three host plants,and difference in chemical composition wasn't found.?5?The result of temperature tropism of mice.There's small difference in cold and hot property among Taxillus chinensis parasitic in the three host plants.The cold and hot property of Taxillus chinensis parasitic in the three host plants were the same as its host plant.The cold and hot property of Taxillus chinensis?Cinnamomum cassia Presl?was hot than others,the Taxillus chinensis?Morus alba L.?was neutral,the Taxillus chinensis?Salix babylonica L.?was cold than others.And the order in cold and hot property of Taxillus chinensis parasitic in the three host plants was Taxillus chinensis?Cinnamomum cassia Presl?>Taxillus chinensis?Morus alba L.?>Taxillus chinensis?Salix babylonica L.?.Conclusion:There's small difference of cold and hot property among Taxillus chinensis,which parasitic in Salix babylonica L.,Morus alba L.and Cinnamomum cassia Presl.And the cold and hot property of Taxillus chinensis parasitic in the three host plants was the same as its host plant.The host plant would influence the cold and hot property of Taxillus chinensis by influencing chemical composition.
