The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation With The Combination Of Buyang Huanwu Decoction And Percutaneous Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy

Objective:Clinical comparative study was conducted to study the effect of the addition of Buyang Huanwu Decoction on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation after percutaneous intervertebral endoscopy,To explore the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation,and to provide clinical reference for the application of traditional Chinese medicine in perioperative period.Method: This study included 35 cases of patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion in the first affiliated hospital of anhui university of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2015 to December 2017.Randomized treatment group(18cases)and control group(17 cases),All patients were treated with the basic treatment of prevention of infection and swelling and pain,and the treatment group received oral Chinese medicine preparation at the same time as the control group.The pain,lower back pain and lumbar function recovery were observed in the two groups before and after 1 week,2 weeks and 6 weeks after surgery.At the same time,(enzyme-linked Immuno sorbent assay,ELISA)was used to detect and observe the changes of interleukin-6 and prostagnin E2 in peripheral blood.Results: IL-6 ?PGE2 :The levels of IL-6 and PGE2 in the serum were compared between the two groups before operation,1 week,2 weeks and 6 weeks after surgery:There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of preoperative il-6 and PGE2(P>0.05);The results of il-6 and PGE2 in 1 week,2 weeks and 6 weeks after operation were statistically significant compared with those in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS,JOA,ODI scores:VAS,JOA and ODI scores were not statistically significant in both groups.VAS,JOA and ODI scores were compared in 1 week,2 weeks and 6weeks after surgery.The treatment group was significantly different from the control group,the results showed P<0.05.there is have statistically significant.Conclusion: 1.Two groups of LDH patients had good therapeutic effect after operation of intervertebral foramen;2.The content of il-6 and PGE2 decreased during the postoperative rehabilitation of the two groups,the content of il-6 and PGE2 in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).It is indicated that the oral administration of the five decoction of fuyang decoction has a certain inhibitory effect on the expression of postoperative inflammatory factors and the release of pain substances;3.The intervention treatment of intervertebral foramen after surgery was performed,VAS,JOA and ODI scores of postoperative follow-up were superior to the control group(P < 0.05),That is,Buyang Huanwu Decoction that can effectively relieve postoperative pain,to Improve clinical symptoms and to promote the recovery of lumbar vertebra function in LDH patients.It has certain clinical promotion value.
