A Study On Correlation Between Obstructive Sleep Apnea-hypopnea Syndrome And Allergic Diseases In Children

Objective:To explore the correlation between allergy and obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)in children and provide theoretical basis for the drug treatment of children OSAHA.Methods:We collected 73 children suffering from snoring and receiving adenotonsillectomy,during June and September,2017.Preoperative medical history were asked,otolaryngology routine physical examination were taken by every children and then,we recorded the size of the tonsils.In addition,nasopharyngeal lateral radiographs and PSG were also necessary,including A/N values.Venous blood was drawn from each child to measure the IgE.? All the children were divided into the negative group and positive group according to the allergen monitoring results.The differences of sex,age,BMI,AHI,LSa02,the size of tonsils,A/N and postoperative effect of the two groups were analyzed.?All the children were divided into primary snoring group,mild OSAHS group,moderate OSAHS group and severe OSAHS groupaccording to AHI.The differences in the sex,age,BMI,size of tonsils and A/N in each group were analyzed.?According to the curative effect,the children were divided into the cured group and the improved group.The differences of age,BMI,AHI,LSa02,the size of tonsils,and A/N of the two groups were analyzed.?Analyzed whether there was a correlation between the two indexes.Results:?There was no statistically significant difference in sex,age,BMI,AHI,minimum oxygen saturation,tonsil and adenoid size between allergen positive group and negative group(P>0.05),The difference in postoperative cure rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).?There was no statistically significant differences in sex,age,BMI and size of tonsils between the simple snoring group,the mild OSAHS group,the moderate OSAHS group and the severe OSAHS group(P>0.05).There were statistically significant difference inA/N between the four groups,P<0.05.?There was no statistically significant difference in age,BMI,AHI,LSaO2,the size of tonsils,and A/N between the cured group and the improved group(P>0.05).?LSaO2 was negatively correlated with FX5.AHI is positively correlated with tonsil size and A/N.Conclusion:There is no significant difference in AHI,LSaO2,tonsil and A/N between positive group and negative group.However,LSaO2 is negatively correlated with FX5 It suggests that the allergy plays a certain role in the pathogenesis in children OSAHS.And allergy may be one of the reasons for the poor OSAHS surgery in children.According to this,it can provide a new direction for the medical treatment of OSAHS children with poor postoperative effects.The degree of hypertrophy of tonsils and adenoids is positively correlated with the severity of OSAHS in children.
