Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects on the T-lymphocytes subgroups and the activity of NK cells in peripheral blood in children with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome, to provide theoretical basis for the clinical to take timely and effective treatment on children with OSAHS.Methods: Selected 34 cases of OSAHS children hospitalized in our department from December in 2013 to January in 2015, all of the patients diagnosed by PSG overnight after entered the hospital. And selected 33 cases of healthy children who were taking physical examination in our hospital, excluded from related and systemic diseases. Detected the levels of the CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, the activity of NK cell in peripheral blood in the two group by FCM(Flow Cytometry Method), then observed the changes of the indicators in OSAHS children. In addition, divide OSAHS children into two group(<3y and≥3y)by the disease course, then observe the changes of the indicators in the two group. At the same time, record the monitoring results of the LSa O2、AHI in PSG of children with OSAHS, and to analyze the correlation between the T-lymphocytes subgroups、the activity of NK cells and LSa O2、AHI.Results: ⑴Compared with the healthy children, the percentage of CD3+ in the OSAHS children without significant difference(P>0.05), the percentage of CD4+,the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ and the activity of NK cell in OSAHS children were decreased markedly(P<0.05), while the percentage of CD8+ was increased significantly(P<0.05). ⑵The percentage of CD3+ and the activity of NK cell in OSAHS children in the different pathogenic condition groups without significance difference(P>0.05). The percentage of CD4+ and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in light group were significantly higher than that in moderate and severe group(P<0.05),while the percentage of CD8+ in severe group was significantly higher than that in mild group(P<0.05). ⑶ The T-lymphocytes subgroups and the activity of NK cells in OSAHS children in the two groups which were divided by the disease course without significance difference(P>0.05). ⑷Linear regression analysis indicated that the percentage of the CD3+ is not related with LSa O2 and AHI(P>0.05), while the percentage of the CD4+, CD8+, the ratio of CD4+/CD8+and the activity of NK cell were linearly related with LSa O2 and AHI(P<0.05). There is a negative correlation between the percentage of the CD4+, the ratio of CD4+/CD8+, the activity of NK cell and AHI, while they were positively correlated with LSa O2. The percentage of CD8+ was positively correlated with AHI, while was negatively correlated with LSa O2.Conclusion: 1、The T-lymphocytes subgroups and the activity of NK cells in peripheral blood in OSAHS children were lower than that of healthy children, which indicated that OSAHS could effect on children′s cellular immunity and nonspecific immunity, the test results of the T-lymphocytes subgroups and the activity of NK cells can be used as a reference for the clinical to evaluate the immunity in OSAHS children and to decide whether therapeutic interventions are needed. 2、There were linear relation between the T-lymphocytes subgroups, the activity of NK cells in OSAHS children and AHI, LSa O2, which indicated that AHI, LSa O2 may be one of the impact factors in the cellular immune function of OSAHS children. 3、The T-lymphocytes subgroups and the activity of NK cells in OSAHS children in the two group which were divided by the disease course have no significant difference, the results of this study is different from other literature reports, may be the number of samples is not enough.
