| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the BiHuiFangGan(BHFG)sachet in intervention of the cold in Naval Air Forces.In order to provide a reliable evidence for the popularization and application of the BHFG sachet in the army.Methods: A prospective randomized controlled study was designed.The study was selected a total of 354 soldiers in a Naval Air Forces.Randomly divided into two groups using random number table,an intervention group and a blank control group.The intervention group wore and hanged indoor BHFG sachet.Two groups of cases worked and lived as usual.Through 3 months of clinical observation,according to incidence of colds,TCM syndrome type,average course of disease,clinical efficacy,symptom score,relationship between TCM syndrome type and efficacy,laboratory tests,safety index,to explore the clinical efficacy of BHFG sachet in the intervention of cold.To investigate the TCM constitutions of cases and the relationship between different TCM constitutions and the incidence of colds with Constitution in Chinese Medicine Questionnaire.Result: From February 2017 to May 2017,a total of 332 cases were included in the study,of which 168 were in the intervention group and 164 in the control group.(1)The incidence of common cold was 17.26% in the intervention group and 32.31% in the blank control group.There was a significant difference between the two grouPs in the incidence(P <0.05).(2)Among the cold patients in the intervention group,the windcold type accounted for 34.48%,the wind-heat type accounted for 37.93%,and the bodydeficient type accounted for 27.85%.Among the cold patients in the control group,the wind-cold type accounted for 35.18%,the wind-heat type accounted for 38.89%,and the physical deficiency accounted for 25.93%.There was no significant difference between the two groups in TCM syndrome type(P <0.05).(3)Through 15 days of observation,blood IgA and IgG levels in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group.There was a statistical significance between the two groups in blood IgA and IgG levels(P <0.05).(4)The average course of the intervention group was 3.42 ± 2.17 days;the average course of the control group was 5.58 ± 2.86 days.There was a significant difference between the two groups in average course(P <0.05).(5)The total effective rate was 75.86% in the intervention group and 64.81% in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups in clinical efficacy(P <0.05).(6)After 3 days of treatment,the total score of symptoms in the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and there was significant effect in improving nasal obstruction,sore throat,runny nose,headache and cough(P <0.05).(7)In the intervention group,the total effective rate was 70.00% in patients with wind-cold type,the total effective rate was 72.72% in patients with wind-heat type,and the total effective rate was 87.50% in patients with physical deficiency type.(P <0.05).(8)Compared with the control group,there was a statistical difference about Neut% and LymPh% in the blood routine examination of intervention group(P <0.05).(9)Among the 332 cases who were surveyed,58.43% were Balanced Constitution,5.27% were Qi-deficient Constitution,11.74% were Yang deficient Constitution,5.12% were Yin-deficient Constitution,5.12% were Phlegmdampness Constitution,7.23% were Damp-heat Constitution,2.71% were Stagnant Blood Constitution,1.81% were Stagnant Qi Constitution,and 2.12% were Inherited Special Constitution.(10)Among the 83 cases of colds,22.89% were Balanced Constitution,19.28% were Qi-deficient Constitution,27.71% were Yang-deficient Constitution,6.02% were Yin-deficient Constitution,9.64% were Phlegm-dampness Constitution,7.23% were Damp-heat Constitution,3.61% were Stagnant Blood Constitution,1.20% were Stagnant Qi Constitution,and 2.41% were Inherited Special Constitution.Conclusions:BHFG sachet can reduce the incidence of cold,increase blood immunoglobulin levels.It has a certain role in preventing cold.BHFG Sachets can shorten the average course of cold,improve the symptoms of colds,and increase total efficiency.It has a certain role in the treatment of cold.BHFG sachet is suitable for promotion in the army cause its high safety,easy using,low cost. |
