In the case of civil compensation cases such as road traffic accidents, workers' injuries and occupational diseases or medical malpractice,as well as various types of personal injury cases, the parties often advocate that they are due to injury caused by more compensation for civil compensation or punishment The In order to properly apply the law,the judiciary needs to entrust the accreditation body to identify the extent to which its olfactory function is compromised and the extent of the damage. The expert must identify the extent to which the victim or the party has a sense of damage, the degree of injury.(GB / T 16180-2014),"the standard of identification of human injury degree" is related to the sense of smell in the standard of personal injury identification in China,"the degree of disability of human injury and disability","labor ability-Function of the terms, but because of our country has not yet widely used olfactory function objective detection method, thus giving such cases of forensic and court trial to bring some difficulties. In the practice of forensic clinical identification, the brain or peripheral nose after a variety of injuries can be olfactory dysfunction,so how to assess the olfactory function is an urgent need to solve the current problem of forensic practice. There are a variety of methods for detecting olfactory function.Various methods of detection have their applicability and limitations.Different detection methods are different or different in different detection parameters or different results.Which is likely to lead to repeated identification of the same case, multiple identification, not only affect the seriousness of the judicial identification and authority, but also such cases become appeal, petition,an important reason affecting social stability. Methods of olfactory function examination include subjective olfactory function tests(olfactory psychophysical tests)and objective olfactory function tests.Subjective testing is mainly the use of standardized commodity kits,to the subject's olfactory function to make a preliminary judgment, the need for active cooperation with the subjects. However,in the forensic examination, the identified person due to claim psychological or escape responsibility, often do not cooperate with the inspection, can not reflect the true sense of smell of the identified person. Therefore,in the forensic practice to find a more objective method of olfactory function test method is very urgent.Olfactory event-related potentials(OERPs)can objectively evaluate olfactory function from the electroencephalogram. This study explored the objective detection method of olfactory evoked potentials by normal human and objective olfactory function evaluation, and the feasibility of applying to forensic identification. In the first chapter, the present situation and significance of the assessment of olfactory dysfunction function in forensic clinical evaluation and the evaluation of olfactory function are described. The methods of olfactory physical examination and olfactory objective examination are described, especially on olfactory evoked Potentiometry and olfactory evoked potential detection methods,as well as domestic and foreign olfactory evoked potential detection technology research progress, and to explore OERPs in the forensic practice of the significance and application prospects. The second chapter uses the Sniffin'Sticks(SST)produced by Burghart Company in Germany to test the left and right nostrils in the normal sense of smell, and obtain the threshold(T),discrimination(D),recognition(I)(TDI)score.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there were no significant differences in T,D,I scores and TDI scores between different sexes and different lateral nostrils in the same age group. There were no significant differences in T,D,I scores and TDI scores,T,D scores and TDI scores on the left side of the young group, but the scores of the left side of the young group were higher than those of the middle age group,Differences were statistically significant. At the same time,we observed that the left nostril TDI score was higher than the middle-aged group, the right nostril TDI total score of young men than middle-aged men,and young women than middle-aged women. No matter the left and right nostrils, female TDI scores were higher than men.SST as a standardized commodity kit for easy testing, simple operation, with the test subjects can be obtained qualitative and quantitative results, and can be used as an objective test of the control. In the third chapter,we detected the olfactory event-related potentials(OERPs)by detecting SST,and changed the concentration of olfactant(phenylethanol)to induce the normal OERPs waveform(N1,P2).Under different concentrations,OERPs leads to the rate of introduction.OERPs for the applicable concentration.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the latency and amplitude of OERPs were the highest in the normal group and the middle age group, and the effects of sex and age on the OERPs were discussed.Correlative Analysis of SST Test Odor Threshold and OERPs in Human SST Test. This study confirmed that SST as a subjective olfactory function test to the olfactory function to make a preliminary judgment,OERPs as an electrophysiological technology can be sensitive to reflect the integrity of the olfactory pathway,T threshold and OERPs concentration there is a correlation between the two combined application Can be an objective assessment of the olfactory function of normal people. The fourth chapter is about the mechanism of traumatic olfactory disorder and the forensic identification of traumatic olfactory disorder.
