| Objective: Observe the changes of event-related potentials(ERP/ERPs)which came from metrical incongruities affect semantic processing in modern chinese,in hearing impairments。The study is helpful to explore neural mechanisms of how metrical incongruities affect semantic processing in hearing impairments。Methods: We invited 14 hearing impairment students from senior grades of Nanchong Special Education School as experimental group, and 15 healthy students from Grade1 of North Sichuan Medical College as control group. All the participants were similar in gender, age and education level。We used E-prime2.0 software to display bisyllabic verb+ monosyllabic noun(V2+N1)、bisyllabic verb+ bisyllabic noun(V2+N2)at random。Asked participants from two groups to judge whether the N1/N2 match the V2 well.We used 64 channel ERP from BrainProducts Company, used Analyzer2.0 software package to process the ERP data, and analyzed data with SPSS19.0 from IBM,compared the behavior data, and compared ERP in different duration and different metrical structures between experimental group and control group, and discussed the reason of the difference。Result:1.During 90-170 ms,experimental group showed no statistical significance on different prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P>0.05);control group showed main effect had statistical significance on different prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P<0.05).2.During 350-400 ms,experimental group showed no statistical significance on different prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P>0.05);control group showed statistical significance on Fz when processed the prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P<0.05).3.During 450-500 ms,experimental group showed no statistical significance on different prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P>0.05);control group showed main effect had statistical significance on different prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P<0.05).4.Compared the ERPs of process in the three durations of 90-170ms、350-400ms、450-500 ms between control group and experimental group, results showed during 90-170ms、450-500 ms,each duration showed main effect had statistical significance between different prosodic constituents(N1/N2)(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Hearing impairments didn’t elicit N400 effect of semantic violation, which suggested they used similar process mechanisms todeal with“V2+N1”and“V2+N2”.2.In this study, hearing impairments didn’t extract the phonological information.3.Hearing impairments used sign-language to process metrical structures, with visual coding the grapheme, directly accessed semantic information.4.Hearing people were sensitive to metrical incongruities, which required more cognitive effort, influenced the fluency of semantic processing, and elicited N400 effect of semantic violation. |
