A Study On The Suicide Issues Of Dulong Ethnicity In The Context Of Social Changes

Suicide is a serious social problem and public health problem.For these suicides and their families,this behavior means lossing the whole world.At the same time,the increase in this event also reflects the social operational mechanism with a problem which will affect social security.This paper takes the suicide problem of Dingcun farmers in Dulongjiang which is under the background of social change as the research object,and obtains the basic situation of 60 suicidal cases in the village by literature method,participation observation and in-depth interview.In the 21st century,Dulong society is facing the most fierce change,so the article is focused on the suicide phenomenon in this period.To be or not to be,that is an individual right.Suicide is an individual choice.But Durkheim believes there is a great relationship between the emergence of suicide phenomenonand and the overall social consciousness.The causes and methods of the suicide,the sex and age of the suicide,the suicide rate changes all reflect an unique social cultural structure within a certain time and space.Therefore,this article will combine an objective social background and individual subjective choice,not only concern the overall suicide rate and social facts to analyze Dulong suicide problem,but also try to explain the suicide case,return to the daily life to learn people who live in this field how to understand this.The article try to understand Dulong suicidal problems further from two aspects.This paper argues that the suicides and the suicide rate in the Dulong begin to increase significantly,in the 21st century.Because during this time,social structure and family structure in Dulong have been changing,the individual subject consciousness has been improved a great deal which make the traditional authority ineffective.The society is having place a great deal of disorder for culture lag.Therefore,from the view of social fact,it can be considered the social organism is in a major adjustment and the integration of social gradually reduced with the development of modernization,these lead a lot of suicide problems to take place in Dulong.It is possible to know by analyzing the specific cases whether it is from the excessive drinking or spirits punishment point of view to understand suicide by the group,or personal suicide.because of extramarital affairs,romance,intergenerational contradictions and other family trivia,the commonality of these explanations is to reflect the state of social change.So it confirmed the relationship between social change and suicide facts from an individual angle.Not only social consciousness act on people,human behavior is also affecting the society,there is a mutual relationship between the two aspectes.
