Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture on migraine with "An Shen Liu Xue" and "Si Guan" and compare with the routine method.Methods Under the random,contrast and single-blind research method,128 patients were involved in this trial and divided randomly into treatment group and control group.64 cases in the treatment group received treatment of acupuncture with "An Shen Liu Xue" and "Si Guan",64 cases in the control group were treated by acupuncture at routine points.All the cases were given every two days for total 12 times,each session lasted for 30 minutes.Recorded and observed the NRS scores,scores of attack frequency,the headache degree,duration of attacks,accompanying symptoms,the depression scores and the anxiety scores.Evaluated the clinical efficacy at Odays before treatment,2 weeks later the first treatment,4 weeks later the first treatment and 3 months later treatment and made an analysis of the results.Results After 4 weeks of acupuncture treatment,all the symptom marks were lower than those before treatment in each group(P<0.05).After 3 months of acupuncture treatment,all the symptom marks were lower than those before treatment in the treatment group(P<0.05).After 3 months of acupuncture treatment,there was no significant difference in SDS scores and SAS scores in the control group(P>0.05).There appeared significant difference between two groups in 4 weeks and 3 months later the first treatment in the scores of NRS?SDS and SAS(P<0.05).Conclusion The two methods have efficacy in patients on migraine.Acupuncture with "An Shen Liu Xue" and "Si Guan" in reducing the degree of headache and reducing the symptoms of depression and anxietyis more effective than the routine method.
