| Salvia deserta Schang in the Salvia family,Lamiaceae, also known as the Xinjiang Danshen and Deserta Sage,is an endemic species of the Salvia genus in China, which was named after the growing environment and geographic distribution.Salvia deserta Schang are widespread in North Xinjiang Tianshan mountain and thinly distributed in Russia and Central Asia, which grow on deserts, woods or grassplots, altitude 270-1850 meters.S.deserta Schang and S.milthiorriza Bunge belong to the same genus but different species. In the folk,S.deserta Schang is commonly used as a substitute for S.milthiorriza Bunge. The whole S.deserta Schang plant can be used as medicine, playing roles in heat-clearing and detoxifying, expelling phlegm and arresting coughing,as well as diuresis detumescence. In this paper,10 compounds were separated and identified from the aerial parts of Salvia deserta Schang by using both modern separation technologies and structure identification methods:Cleroinermin(1),n-Tritiacontane(2),Ursolic acid(3),Oleanolic acid(4),β-Sitosterol(5),Daucosterol(6),Dibutyl phthalate(7),5-hydroxy-4’,6,7-trimethoxyflavone(8),Apigenin 7-O-methyglucuronide(9),Luteolin-7-O-β-glucopyranoside(10).Retrieved by Scifinder system,3 compounds respectively named Cleroinermin(1),Apigenin 7-O-methyglucuronide(9),Luteolin-7-O-β-glucopyranoside(10)are all isolated from the species Salvia deserta Schang for the first time. The research provided a theoretical evidences and material bases for further study of this plant. |
