Clinical Observation Of Tuina And Chinese Medicated Bath Combined With Rehabilitation Training On Post-stroke Spastic Paralysis

Objective:To observe the scoring changes of Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS),Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)and Modified Barthel Index(MBI)for post-stroke spastic paralysis patients before,in and after the treatment of post-stroke spastic paralysis;to explore the clinical effects of Tuina and Chinese medicated bath combined with rehabilitation training on post-stroke spastic paralysis.Methods:The research takes the patients of the post-stroke spastic paralysis as the research subject.40 cases of post-stroke spastic paralysis patients are randomly divided into a treatment group(20 cases)and a control group(20 cases).The treatment group is treated by Tuina and Chinese medicated bath combined with rehabilitation training,while the control group is treated only by rehabilitation training.One month as one observation period.Evaluation is made by using MAS,FMA and MBI to evaluate the treatment effect,at the time of before treatment,two weeks after,4 weeks after.Trough the comparison between groups and within group comparison,dates are processed and statistically analyzed using statistical software.Result:(1)Comparisons of the MAS integrals between the two groups are made.After two weeks treatment,the MAS integrals of flexors of elbow,flexors of the wrist,extensors of the knee show no significant differences(P>0.05);while the MAS integral of the flexors of the fingers shows a remarkable difference(P<0.05).After four weeks treatment,the MAS integrals of flexors of the wrist is still no significant difference(P>0.05),while the MAS integrals of flexors of elbow,flexors of the fingers show a remarkable difference(P<0.05),the MAS integrals of extensors of the knee trend to show a remarkable difference(P=0.051).It indicates that the treatment of Tuina and Chinese medicated bath combines with rehabilitation has a high possibility to reduce the degree of spasticity.And the effect of treatment with Tuina and Chinese medicated bath combines with rehabilitation training is better than the effect of treatment with rehabilitation training only.But for different spastic muscle groups,the improvements are different.(2)Comparing with the integral of motive function assessment between two groups,there are not significant statistical differences between treatment group and control group after two weeks treatment(P>0.05);while four weeks after there are remarkable difference(P<0.05);Comparing with the differences of the integral of motive function assessment within group,there are both significant differences after two weeks treatment and after four weeks treatment in treatment group(P<0.05).Control group has no significant statistical difference after two weeks treatment,but after four weeks treatment it goes different(P<0.05);it indicates that the treatments of both groups can improve motive function of patients with post-stroke spastic paralysis,but treatment group shows the advantage.(3)Comparing with the integral of Modified Barthel Index between two groups,there are not significant statistical differences between treatment group and control group after two weeks treatment and four weeks treatment(P>0.05).Comparing with the difference of the integral of Modified Barthel Index within group,there are both significant differences after two weeks and four weeks in treatment group(P<0.05).Control group is likewise the same.It indicates that both treatments of the two groups can improve patients' ability of daily life,however the effect of the two groups shows no difference.Conclusion:The comprehensive treatment method of Tuina and Chinese medicated bath combined with rehabilitation training for treating post-stroke spastic paralysis patients has a definite clinical effect.It can reduce the degree of post-stroke spasticity and improve the motive function and ability of daily life quickly and remarkably.Thereby,improving the quality of life and promoting patients to recover.
