Study On Epidemic And Spatial Clustering Of Injuries In Yantian District Of Shenzhen City

OBJECTIVE: The study wants to identify the main types,understand the characteristics of the time-place-population distribution,analyze the related influencing factors and explore spatial agglomeration of injuries in Yantian District.Depends on the results,we can provide Key projects,areas and target population for government to make comprehensive intervention,to protect the physical and mental health of residents.Methods: By establishing the injury monitoring system,all cases of outpatient injury in general hospital during 2016 were collected in Yantian District.The data were collected and analyzed by Stata13.0.Through descriptive epidemiology and analytical epidemiology Methods Data analysis was conducted to find out the distribution of injury and the factors that affect the severity of injury in Yantian District.Spatial aggregation was analyzed by local spatial autocorrelation.Results: In 2016,a total of 14008 injuries occurred in Yantian District of Shenzhen City,9345 times(66.71%)were reported to men,4618 times(33.29%)to women.25-29 were the most frequent injuriy group which reported 1597 times(11.40%).1806 times(12.89%)injuries in the Mingzhu community,1699 times(12.13%)injuries in Pengwan community,1412 times(10.08%)injuries in Yangang community which happened more frequent were reported.The frequency of occupations was commercial and service personnel 3346 times(24.03%).4221 times(30.30%)were injured in junior high school education.Injuries occurred mainly in the second half of the year,with higher incidences in July and October.The main types are falls reported 4,508(32.28%)person-times,blunders reported 2912(20.87%)person-time,knife / sharpness injuries reported 2024(14.47%)person-times and animal injuries reported 1690(12.08%)person-times.The severity of the injury depends on the group's sex,age,education level and occupation,location of the injury event,activity at the time of occurrence and whether it was intentional.The main types of injuries occurred in the spatial distribution of the injury,the high-high cluster occurred in Yangang communities and Donghai communities,blunt injuries,knife / sharp weapon injuries,animal injuries were presented high-high cluster in Yangang community Donghai community and Tiandong community.Conclusion: Targeted injury prevention should be carried out for key populations and systematic injury prevention and control should be given to the main groups involved in the injury.Clear the occurrence of injuries,take intervention for key activities and locations,and then reduce the harm through the process control.According to the spatial distribution and clustering rules of injury occurred in Yantian District,the proposed key areas for injury management are of great significance for community injury prevention.To carry out prevention and treatment of injuries,a comprehensive prevention and control system should be actively established.The government should set up a prevention and treatment office headed by the principal leaders of the government,the office should include relevant departments such as medical care,education,urban planning,urban construction,urban management.Sides the office needs carrying out propaganda and mobilizing all social participation,gets recognition and support of the masses,formulates reasonable strategies and measures,and step by step to promote the gradual reduction of the incidence of injuries.
