Study On Influence Factors Of Efficacy Exertion Of Baihu Decoction And Its Class

Objective: To preliminary explore the influence factors such as compatibility,dose,dosage form,usage of efficacy exertion of Baihu decoction.Methods: The study is mainly based on prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine dictionary written by Peng Huairen editor-in-chief,combined with the Chinese medical recipe class.The study includes dosage analysis.The selected prescriptions include gypsum,rhizome anemarrhenae,polished round-grained rice,liquorices as the basic standard.There are 350 prescriptions selected.The analysis frequency is performed in accordance with the sequence origination,name,form,dosage,usage in order to discuss the influence factors of efficacy exertion of Baihu decoction.Results: Compatibility is the main factor in affecting the efficacy exertion of Baihu decoction,which displayed mainly in adding new function,strengthening the original prescription's function,changing the original prescription's function.The top ten herbs compatible with Baihu decoction were tonify deficiency herbs,heat-clearing herbs,exterior-releasing herbs,dampness-transforming herbs,dampness-disinhibiting herbs,expectorant herbs,interior-warming herbs,extinguish wind antispasmodic herbs,astringent herbs,cough-suppression panting –calming medicinal herbs.The often compatible herbs are ginseng,astragal us,cassia twig,bamboo leaf,puerarin,radix ophiopgonis,etc.Dosage of the herbs in the prescription will also affect efficacy exertion of Baihu decoction,mainly manifesting in the following aspects: increasing the dosage of gypsum heat purging fire to remove vexed enfold;increasing the dosage of japonica rice to regulate stomach qi,increasing the dosage of rhizome anemarrhenae heat to purge fire and nourish dryness;increasing the dosage of licorice to clear heat and detoxify,tonify spleen qi;four herbs applied equivalently to clear heat and product body liquid.Dosage form and usage have small influence on the effect of Baihu decoction,but they cannot be ignored.Conclusion:In the treatment of heat diseases,increasing the dosage of gypsum isoften used to clear heat combination of heat-clearing herbs such as radix scutellariae,bamboo,radix rehmanniae,often soup as dosage form,taking medicine on time and warmly.Tonify deficiency herbs such as Ginseng;radix ophiopogonis are often combined with Baihu decoction to treat heat diseases with qi deficiency syndrome.Cassia twig and cinnamon are often used to treat malaria in Baihu decoction,often taking the medicine before malaria begins.In the treatment of the Yin deficiency diseases,increasing the dosage of rhizoma anemarrhenae,compatibility with heat-clearing herbs,soup as the dosage form,taking medicine warmly are often used.To protect stomach qi,increasing the dose of polished round-grained rice and using soup as dosage form are often used.
