Objective:To assess the relationship between the risk of mutiple sclerosis(MS)and the polymorphisms of CD24.Methods:Cocharane Collaboration's RevMan 5.3 software was used to conduct Meta nanlysis, funnel plot analyisand qualitative evaluation, selection of fixed effects model or random effects model based on the effectiveness of heterogeneity,he general standard alpha=0.05 inspection, with a 95% confidence interva(CI)to estimate the synthetic evaluation index A computer-based online search was conducted in Medline(1950-2018),Embase(1980-2018),The Cochrane Library,CB Mdise(1978-2018),CNMI(1979-2018),Wan Fang(1989-2018).Manual searching relevant journals such as Chinese Journal of Neurology,Journal of Clinical Neurology,Journal of Appolexy and Nervous Diseases,Chinese Journal of Neurommunology and Neurology,Chinese Joural of Clinical Neuroscience. All the case-control studies relating to this study published in China and abroad before January 2018 in related darabases and magazines through these two retrieval strategies. Results:Seven studies(including 1174 MS cases and 1570 controls)were enrolled. The results of meta-analysis showed :(1)compared with the individuals carrying the CD24 E2+226 C C allele, the individuals carrying T allele increased risk of MS(OR = 1.42,95% CI: 1.24–1.63,P< 0.00001);(2)Compared with control group,CD24 1527-1528TG/del?1056 A/G?1626 A/G of MS gene expression show no value to statistic.Conclusion:1.CD24 E2+226 C is associated with susceptibility to MS;2.Whether CD24 1527-1528TG/del?1056 A/G?1626 A/G were associated with susceptibility to MS needs to be incorporated into more literature to validate.
