Clinical Research Of Acupuncture Method Of Dong Yuan Treatment On Primary Dysmenorrhea(Qi-defeciency And Blood-stasis Type)

Objectives: Applying the acupuncture method of Dong Yuan and observing its clinical curative effects of treating primary dysmenorrheal(qi-defeciency and blood-stasis type),inheriting the classical acupuncture theory,searching for more efficient ways in treating the disease.Methods: Sixty patients with primary dysmenorrheal(qi-defeciency and blood-stasis type)who met the criteria of the study were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.Treatment group with "acupuncture method of Dong Yuan" as acupuncture treatment method;control group with conventional acupuncture prescription treatment;two groups both are using needle acupuncture.Treatment start from a week before menstruation accure,three times a week,two weeks for a course,a total of three courses,does not stop when menstrual period.Evaluation of patients in dysmenorrheal symptom scores,visual analog scale(VAS)score,recurrence rate and other aspects before and after treatment.Conclusion: The acupuncture method of Dong Yuan is an effective method to treat primary dysmenorrheal(qi-defeciency and blood-stasis type).The method not only can be used in treating primary dysmenorrheal,but also can be further study in other diseases.
