Research On The Improvement Of Quality Standard Of Cicade Periostracum

Cicada slough,a crushed nymph that emerges from the nymph of Cryptotympana pustulata Fabricius,is sweet,cold,and enters the lungs and liver.It has functions such as evacuation of wind-heat,clearing eyesight and nebula,relieving sore throat and spasm.It belongs to one of the commonly used animal medicines,which has been included in ancient medical books and historical editions of pharmacopoeia.At present,the quality standard of cicada slough is still not perfect.The 2015 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia contains only trait items and lacks other quality standards,so it is difficult to evaluate the quality of cicada medicinal herbs and decoction pieces.In addition,the taking methods of cicada slough are not unified in ancient and modern.Ancient medical books have recorded that they are often taken with powder,however,over the years Chinese Pharmacopoeia and clinical practice have used water to cook them,which lack scientific basis.Based on the above problems,the subject conducted the following studies.Research on the quality standards of cicada slough.With reference to the 2015 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia,the traits,identification,inspection,extracts,content determination,and fingerprints were studied.A microscopic identification and identification method for amino acid thin layers has been established.Water,total ash,acid-insoluble ash,heavy metals and harmful elements,aflatoxin and leachables have been added,and their limited standards were established.The method for determining the content of 4 nucleotides was established,due to its low content and large differences between batches,it was not included in the quality standard.In addition,a HPLC fingerprint of the water-soluble components of Radon was established for the first time,22 common peaks were identified,and the similarity between the fingerprints of the batch samples and the control fingerprints was greater than 0.9.Discussion on the ways of taking cicade slough.Establishing two acute convulsion model respectively induced by pentylenetetrazol and strychnine in mice,the anticonvulsant efficacy of powdered and water-dried medicines was studied by using the convulsion latency,death latency,convulsive rate and mortality as indicators.The results showed that the decoction group and the low-dose group of powder had no antagonistic effect on acute convulsions in the two model;both middle and high doses of powder could significantly prolong the convulsive latency and death latency in convulsive mice.And powder high-dose group can significantly reduce strychnine-induced convulsive mice mortality.The results of the chronic ignition model induced by pentylenetetrazole showed that cicade slough powder can relief the degree of lesions in the hippocampus of rats,and may exert anticonvulsant efficacy by regulating amino acid transmitter content.To sum up,this project has improved the quality standards of cicade slough,which is conducive to guaranteeing the quality and clinical efficacy of it.The taking method was explored by anticonvulsive experimental study.It was initially confirmed that the anticonvulsant effect of cicada powder was stronger than that of water decoction,which provided the basis for wolfberry powder medicine.
