Objective:To evaluate the short-term clinical efficacy of of medial retinaculum tightening under the arthroscope,in the adolescent patella dislocation. Methods:From January 2010 to July 2016,Department of orthopedics Center,The First Affiliated Hospital of the Medical College of Shihezi University were treated adolescent patellar dislocation patients as the research object.According to different treatment methods,it is divided into conservative treatment group and arthroscopic treatment of patellar dislocation with medial retinaculum tightening group Conservative treatment group,39 patients(39 knees),13 males and 26 females, mean age 16.28 years;surgical treatment group,31(35 knees),9 males,22 females, mean age 15.43 years.Evaluate and collect changes in patients' J-sign sign and apprehension test, and IKDC(International Knee Documentation Committee questionnaire)subjective scores of knee function,Lysholm and Kujala scores of in March,June and December. Results:Compared to preoperative,Patients were followed up 3,6 and 12 months after the operation and The IKDC scores were improved 42.63%?48.76%? 52.81%(P<0.001),The Lysholm scores were improved 82.70%?91.65%? 110.98%(P<0.001),The Kujala scores were improved 81.52%?85.71%? 102.32%(P<0.001).and All scores are on the rise.Compared with the conservative treatment group, the scores of IKDC,Lysholm and Kujala in March and June were all higher than those in the conservative group. There was no significant difference in the scores during the follow-up between patients with acute patellar dislocation and those with recurrent patellar dislocation. At 12 months after surgery, the positive rate of J-sign test was reduced by 54.29% compared with preoperative, and the positive rate of apprehension test was reduced by 62.85% compared with preoperative(P<0.01).Conclusion:Arthroscopic treatment of patellar dislocation with medial retinaculum tightening in adolescent showed satisfactory results in the short term follow-up.This method can make the patients smaller wound, quicker recovered,It can meet the daily needs of the patient.
