Objective:To investigate the imaging anatomy and clinical significance of TT-TG in patients with adolesecnt recurrent patellar dislocation. Methods:From January 2012 to December 2014,104 patients aged 8-16 with recurrent patella dislocation were treated in YanBian Univerity affiliated hospital.Collecting the X-ray examination of the patients was in order to measure the height of the patella and Sulcus angle.Collecting the CT.examination of the patients was in order to measure the tibila tubercle-trochlear groove distance and patellar tilt angle. All these patients were divided into 2 groups:low age group(aged 8-12,A group)and high age group(aged 13-16,B group). The preoperative and postoperative data of tibila tubercle-trochlear groove distance,Patella height,Sulcus angle, patellar tilt angle,Lysholm knee score and patella Kujala score had been collected and recorded within 3,6,9,12,24 months. The condition of postoperative complications and postoperative functional recovery were compared between two groups. Results were evaluated clinically useing the knee-joint Lysholm score and patella Kujala score after 9 months of surgery. All the patients were followed up for 24 monthes. Results:According to the RPD patients aged 8-16,TT-TG of 13-16 years old patients were higher than those of patients aged 8-12 yea rs.There is no statistical difference between the preoperative data of two groups such as sexal, surgical site,BMI,patella height, patellar ti It angle,Lysholm knee score and patella Kujala score. The postoperati ve patella height and patellar tilt angle in three monthsof group A a nd B were less than preoperation, the difference was statistically signi ficant.(P<0.05).The patella height and patellar tilt angle in 24 mont hs after operation of group A were less than the data of group.an d the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The knee-joint Lysholm score and patella Kujala score in group A is higher than the score in group B at 6 and 9 month pogtopterat ibely.Within 9 months after operation, collected data shows that the excellent outcome of group A was higher than that of group B,the d ifference was statistically significant. The number of patients with pos toperative complications in group A was less than that in group B,t he difference was statistically significant. All the differences is statisti cal. Conclusion:There is larger TT-TG in patients aged 13-16 than i n 8-12 years old.The patellar ligament 1/3 transfer surgery for adoles cent RPD patients is reliable and effctive with 24 months after surge ry.
