A Meta-analysis Of Tourniquet Use In Total Knee Arthroplasty

Objectives:evaluating the effect and safety of tourniquet in total knee arthroplasty.Methods:searching the studies before July 2017,conducting use PUBMED,EMBASE,the Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang,randomized controlled trials that the effect of tourniquet in total knee arthroplasty techniques ? Results the data extraction is analyzed and extracted by Revman 5.3 software.Results: the use of tourniquet can reduce the total amount of blood loss in the TKA It also could shorten the operation time,but it can increase the possibility of postoperative complications: thrombosis.There was no statistically significant difference between HSS score,pain and knee motion after 7 days after operation.Results And Conclusions:the use of a tourniquet in total knee arthroplasty can reduce the total blood loss,shorten the operation time,It have no effect on knee joint mobility,pain,and HSS score of 7 days after TKA,but will increase the postoperative complications:incidence of thrombosis.
