Epidemiological Analysis Of Measles In Rizhao From 2013 To 2016

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of measles in Rizhao and to summarize the precautions needed for future measles prevention and control in Rizhao,and to provide more effective and scientific measures and basis for measles prevention and control in Rizhao.Methods A descriptive epidemiological approach was used to analyze cases of measles patients reported in Rizhao from 2013 to 2016.The data were analyzed using Excel 2013.Results There were 341 cases of measles reported in Rizhao in 2013-2016.The incidence of measles in Rizhao from 2013 to 2016 was uneven,sporadic and high local incidence.The distribution of Donggang and Juxian was the highest;In the occupational distribution,most of the patients are the staff who needed extensive contact,such as the staff of Rizhao public transport company,Huang Dun Center kindergarten,and Juxian Chinese medicine hospital;The total number of male patients was 163 cases,and the total number of female patients was 173 cases.There was no significant difference between male and female;The majority of patients are adults over 20 years old;From2013 to 2015,the incidence of measles increased year by year.After the outbreak of 2015,the epidemic was effectively suppressed,and the incidence of measles infection in 2016 was significantly reduced;According to the case data of measles confirmed from March to June in 2016,inoculation history of 6 cases have been investigated,of which 2 children have poor health and have not been vaccinated in time.Conclusion Rizhao has a relatively advanced level in measles elimination,but there is still a certain distance away from the complete elimination.Therefore,the epidemic prevention work in Rizhao needs to strengthen the monitoring of measles epidemic and improve the vaccination rate and timeliness of measles vaccine.Decrease the susceptible population,take the initiative of the highly efficient vaccination mode,make full use of local medical resources for missing replanting;Rizhao should strengthen monitoring of measles epidemic situation,establish a sensitive and efficient measles monitoring system,enhance the effectiveness of immunization and carry out the health education of measles.According to the provisions of health disinfection,isolating of infectious diseases and non-communicable patients in the relevant areas,and vaccinate health care workers of infectious disease.In addition to improve the patient and its families and the masses of the understanding of measles disease,we should spontaneous reduction and isolation of sources of infection,from the root causes of measles epidemic rebound.
