Objective: To explore the application effect of Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program(CUSP)on intra-transportation of critically ill patients.Methods: Clinical data of 495 cases was researched.The 242 cases admitted from July 2016 to December 2016 were selected as control group,and received routine intra-transportation method.Other 253 cases admitted from January 2017 to June 2017 were selected as experimental group,and applied with CUSP.The scores of C-SAQ(Chinese version of Safety Attitudes Questionnaire)of clinical staff before and after applied with CUSP,the general condition,incidence of adverse event,level of adverse event,duration of intra-transportation,related factors of adverse event,satisfaction of patient and family were compared between two groups.Results: 1 The scores of C-SAQ after applied with CUSP higher than control group,the difference was statistical differences(P<0.05).2 The general condition in two groups was no statistical differences(P>0.05).3 The incidence of adverse events with control group(37.19%),and experimental group(16.60%).Incidence of adverse events in experimental group lower,the difference was statistical differences(P<0.05).4 control group: serious adverse event(14),high-risk event(45),Minor incident(31).experimental group: serious adverse event(6),high-risk event(32),Minor incident(4).The difference was statistical differences(P<0.05).5 control group: patient-related problems(48),personnel related problems(19),equipment-related problem(6),environment related problems(17).experimental group: patient-related problems(31),personnel related problems(9),equipment-related problem(0),environment related problems(2).Patient-related problems,personnel related problems,equipment-related problem and environment related problems,the difference was statistical differences(P<0.05).6 The destination in two groups was no statistical differences(P>0.05).In Addition to the operating,duration of intra-transportation was statistical differences(P<0.05).Destination of operating,duration of intra-transportation in experimental group lower,but the difference was no statistical differences(P>0.05).7 satisfaction of patient and family in control group(78.51%),in experimental group(86.56%),the difference was statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion: The application of CUSP on intra-transportation of critically ill patients,improve the safety attitude of the medical staff and reduce the incidence of adverse event and save time of intra-transportation and promote satisfaction of patient and family.It is worth for further application in clinic.
