Objective:1.To analyze the therapeutic effect of cerebrovascular stent angioplasty on symptomatic intracranial artery stenosis.2.The complications of cerebral angioplasty were observed after 1 year follow-up.Methods:232 cases of intracranial stenting were collected from January 2015 to December 2016 in the Department of Neurology, second Hospital of Hebei Medical University, including 154 males and 78 females, aged 40-78 years with an average age of 58.32 ±7.59 years, and 98 patients with transient ischemic attack.134 cases of stroke. The clinical symptoms, imaging data, surgical conditions, perioperative complications, changes in the rate of stenosis before and after operation, the improvement of symptoms and the changes of the condition during the 1-year follow-up were recorded. The data obtained are analyzed by SPSS software. Results:Among 232 cases,231 cases were stents successfully implanted, including 2 cases of carotid stents,1 case of subclavian artery stents,6 cases of stents at the opening of vertebral artery,1 case of failed placement,240 stents,2 cases of carotid artery stents,1 case of subclavian artery stents,6cases of vertebral artery opening stents. The stenosis decreased from 81.41%±10.12 before operation to 7.31% ±4.36 after operation. The improvement of stenosis rate was statistically significant. There were 2 cases of acute stent occlusion in perioperative period and 24 cases of restenosis during one year follow-up,of which 54.17% were asymptomatic restenosis,4 cases hadgastrointestinal bleeding or subcutaneous ecchymosis.2 cases died of trauma and 1 case died of intracerebral hemorrhage. Conclusion:The treatment of symptomatic intracranial artery stenosis with stent angioplasty has high safety, high success rate, obvious improvement of stenosis, low incidence of perioperative complications and low incidence of symptomatic restenosis during follow-up.Symptomatic intracranial artery stenosis was treated with cerebrovascular stent angioplasty, which was feasible, safe and effective.
