Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy in the short term and complicationsof stent placement in the treatment of symptomatic intracranial arterystenosis, and analysis the short-term therapeutic effect and safety. Methods:From September2012-September2014, select in43patients whohas a clear diagnosis of intracranial artery stenosis with DSAexamination.the main clinical manifestations are frequently transientdizziness, ataxia, amaurosis, blurred vision, speech impairment, aphasia, limb movement disorder, transient loss of consciousness.Therewere23males,female20cases,mean age58.14±6.53years old, thepatients were grouped according to age(group A≤50years old; groupB50-60years old; group C>60years old),8cases in A group,17casesin B group,18cases in C group. The morphology of intracranial arterystenosis according to Mori classification,including29cases of type A,14cases of type B.According to the degree of stenosis type,The severestenosis (70%-89%) in34cases, very severe stenosis (more than90%)in9cases. The definition of the degree of restenosis for luminal stenosis rate is greater than or equal to50%.From3days before theoperation, oral aspirin (300mg,1/d)and clopidogrel (75mg,1/d). Operationmode via femoral artery puncture, for endovascular stent implantationoperation, postoperative patients given a positive drug treatment, Analysisof arterial morphology, degree of stenosis, operation effect andcomplications.Result:43cases of operation are all successful, The average rate oftenosis from preoperative80.81%±6.72%to postoperative15.12%±6.02%; no complications occurred,8cases of postoperative complications,According to Mori classification,2cases in type A,6cases in type B;According to the stenosis,4cases in severe stenosis and4cases in verysevere stenosis. According to age, A group has2cases occurredrestenosis and B group has1case occurred restenosis at6months afteroperation.Conclusion:1)Stent implantation in the treatment of symptomatic intracranialartery stenosis with better security and the short term clinicaleffect.2)The probability of complications after operation has a certaineffect with the narrow shape and the degree of stenosis of intracranialartery stenosis, and the age of the patients also have a certain effect onthe incidence of restenosis.
