Objective: Monitoring data of patients who accept of tracranial stenting, discussrisk factors for endovascular treatment of periprocedural complications of intracranialartery stenosis. Methods: Retrospective analysis of207cases which underwentIntracranial Angioplasty and Stenting from February2004to February2013at NanjingGeneral Hospital of Nanjing military command,. multivariable logistic regression analysiswas employed to analysis12variables includeing age, cgender, hypertension, diabetes, history, high blood lipids, heart disease, history of stroke and other indicators ofintracranial vascular stenosis. Results: After30days of follow-up,26(12.6%)patients suffered different degrees of complications In207patients who underwentIntracranial Angioplasty and Stenting:6cases of hyperperfusion syndrome (1cases died),10cases of ischemic stroke (1died),1cases of transient ischemic attack,2cases ofruptured blood vessels (1cases of deathdeath),which periprocedural complications infemale patients than male patients (20.8%and10.1%respectively, P <0.05), age ofpatients greater than65than patients less than65years (21.7%and8.8%, P <0.05),logistic regression analysis showed: age, female positively correlated incidence rate ofperiprocedural complications of Intracranial Angioplasty and Stenting.(OR=2.99and2.51respectively) Conclusion: Age and sex are independent risk factors of periproceduralcomplications in endovascular treatment of intracranial artery stenosis., the vast majorityof periprocedural complications occurred in the24hours after the operation (84.6%).
