Objective: To investigate the expression of protein and MAC30 m RNA of MAC30 in breast cancer and corresponding non-tumor tissue samples, and to analyse the clinical significance. Methods: MAC30 was immunohistochemically examined in 43 primary tumours and corresponding non-tunor tissue samples.RNA extraction and quantitative polymerase chain reaction(q PCR)was to used to detect the expression of MAC30 m RNA in 43 cases of breast cancer tissue and corresponding non-tumor tissue samples. Results: MAC30 cytoplasmic expression level in breast primary tumors 51.6%(22/43)was significantly higher than that normal tissue nearby18.6%(8/43)(P<0.05),and the expression level was related to the lymph node metastasis?KI-67 in breast cancer(P<0.05).We also found that the expression levels of MAC30 m RNA in tumor tissues were upregulated in primary tumors, and the expression level was related to the TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and ER,Ki-67 in breast cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion: MAC30 overexpression might be involved in the development of breast carcinomas and be correlated with the tumor's invasiveness and metastasis, seemed to be a prognostic factor. |
