Objective: Hospitalized patients with rheumatoid arthritis are retrospectively analyzed with the clinical data,to find the clinical characteristics, and provide clinical basis to evaluate the patient's condition in the early stage and take effective treatment measures to avoid the poor prognosis. Methods: RA patients treated in department of rheumatology immunology in ShengJing hospital affiliated to China Medical University between January 2015 and December2016 were retrospectively investigated. We collected the clinical and laboratory indexes, and analyzed the clinical characteristics, laboratory indexes and RA related illness development. Results: A total of 1,757 patients, the average age of patients is 52.8(12-93)years old.367(20.9%)cases of male patients and 1390(79.1%)cases of female patients. The average length of hospitalization was 15.67 days.1200(68.3%)cases of urban patients,557(31.7%)cases of rural patients. The primary articulation of RA patients consisted of 847(48%)of interphalangeal joints, knee joint, wrist joint, knuckle joint and shoulder joint, accounting for 40.9% ?36.4%?27.8%?25.8%respectively.A total of 464 patients were screened, and the ANA titer was 87.50%,RF increased by 64.90%;CCP antibody increased by 61.50%;CRP >8 mg/L 65.10%;ESR>20 mm/h 81.10%;D-dimer > 252 ug/L 62.90%;albumin<35 g/L 34.80%;PLT>350*10^9/L 16.90%;Fasting blood glucose >6.11mmol/L 15.98%;Cholesterol>5.69mmol/L 10.40%;HDL<1.04mmol/L 50.50%;LDL>3.37mmol/L 22.70%;Hb<90g/L 44.10%.Among them,358(77.2%)patients were in the active stage of the disease, while 106(22.8%)patients with a stable condition.Among the two groups of RA patients, the differences of albumin ?cholesterol?HDL?PLT?D-dimer?ESR and CRP,and were statistically significant(P<0.05).The differences among patients with disease activity and stability in the living environment(urban and rural),the length of the course(course of < 10 years and course > 10 years),the ESR and CRP aspect were statistically significant(P<0.05).Logistic regression results: Living environment, course of disease, increased ESR and increased CRP are risk factors for disease recurrence and disease activity. Conclusion: Raise the awareness of RA,achieve early diagnosis and early treatment by perfecting the system testing and examination.Through this way, patients can improve their joint function condition and quality of life, then improve the prognosis rate of the disease.
