The Effect Of Hydrogen Molecule On The Treatment Of Lung Diseases

Hydrogen can be spread throughout the cells of small molecules,the combination of hydrogen and other small molecules rate is very high.In recent years,studies have shown that hydrogen molecules of organs and tissues with a protective effect.Hydrogen molecules have different means of transport,including direct inhalation of hydrogen gas,drinking hydrogen-rich water,injection with hydrogen-rich saline.A large number of studies have shown that hydrogen molecules have protective effects on many organs(such as brain,myocardium,liver,small intestine,lungs,etc.)and diseases(diabetes,skin diseases,rheumatoid arthritis,etc.).Many basic and clinical trials research found that hydrogen molecules have therapeutic effects on various lung diseases caused by oxidative stress,such as lung injury caused by paraquat,ventilator-associated lung injury(VILI),hyperoxia induced lung injury,and lung injury caused by sepsis.Consulting relevant literatures,this paper reviews the value of hydrogen molecule in the treatment of lung diseases(acute lung injury,bronchial asthma,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)and analyzes the mechanism of hydrogen molecule on lung disease.Hydrogen molecules may play a role through the following mechanisms.Hydrogen molecules can significantly reduce the level of inflammation,oxidant activity and apoptosis.Hydrogen molecules affect cellular signaling pathways,including NF-?B/ Bcl-2 signaling pathways,Rho/ROCK signaling pathways and Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathways.Hydrogen molecules have other functions including enhancing autophagy level,promoting mitochondrial biosynthesis,restoring the protease/anti-protease balance and inhibiting mucus production.
