Objective:1.Compare the differences of galectin-3 levels in coronary heart disease between patients and normal controls.2.By analyzing the differences of galectin-3,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and coronary gensini scores in different subgroups of coronary heart disease, the relationship between coronary heart disease severity and coronary heart disease was explored.3.Follow-up for six months, observed the relationship between galectin-3 levels and adverse cardiovascular events in the case group.Methods:1.This study was consecutively selected from October 2016 to November 2017 for inpatients with chest pain who were admitted to the Department of Cardiology at the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University.During the hospitalization period, laboratory and imaging tests were performed and coronary angiography was performed.According to the diagnostic criteria for coronary heart disease,102 patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease were included in the case group, with an average age of 62.82±8.48 years and a ratio of 59/43 male to female.Randomly selected 53 inpatients without coronary heart disease were included in the control group, with an average age of 60.77±8.44 years and a male to female ratio of 30/23.2.The number of diseased coronary sclerosis atherosclerosis patients will be divided into single vessel disease groups(n = 42),double vessel disease group(35 cases)and multivessel disease group(25 cases).According to gensini score, the cases were divided into mild stenosis group(69 cases)and high degree stenosis group(33 cases). Finally, after six months of follow-up,the two groups were divided into two groups based on the occurrence of MACE events(10 cases occurred and 92 cases did not occur).3.Admission next morning fasting venous blood 5ml,after centrifugation the supernatant is stored at-70 ? stored in the test. The gal-3 level was detected by ELISA.Blood samples were sent to our laboratory for determination of hs-CRP levels. And improve the relevant laboratory and imaging studies.4.All subjects underwent coronary angiography and PCI if necessary. The results of the examination were read by 2 cardiology interventionalists and were recorded in real time.5.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0 software.Measured data were expressed as mean±standard deviation(X±S).Count data were expressed as the number of cases and percentages. All data were tested for normality using Shapiro-Wilk and Leven tested for homogeneity of variance. The t-test was used for comparison between the two groups.Variance analysis or 2 test was used for comparison between groups, and the LSD-t test was used for comparison between groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine whether there was a linear correlation between gal-3 and hs-CRP.Spearman rank correlation analysis was used to compare the relationship between gal-3,hs-CRP and gensini scores,respectively.p<0.05 is a statistically significant difference.Result:1.Compared the baseline data and biochemical indicators between the case group and the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05).2.The serum levels of gal-3 and hs-CRP in the case group were higher than those in the control group(p<0.05).3.Comparing different sub-groups of coronary artery lesions, the more the number of affected lesions, the higher the level of serum gal-3 and hs-CRP.4.Comparing the degree of coronary artery stenosis between the two groups, the serum gal-3 and hs-CRP levels with gensini score ?30 were significantly higher than those with mild stenosis.5.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum gal-3 was positively correlated with hs-CRP in the case group.Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between gal-3 and hs-CRP and gensini score, and the correlation between gal-3 and gensini scores was stronger.6.Logistic regression analysis of the common risk factors for coronary heart disease and serum Gal-3 levels revealed that Gal-3 is an independent risk factor for coronary heart disease;7.During follow-up six months, serum gal-3 and hs-CRP levels in the case group were higher in patients with MACE events.Conclusion1.Serum gal-3 and hs-CRP levels in patients with coronary heart disease were higher than those in normal controls.2.The more lesions in patients with coronary heart disease, the more severe the degree of stenosis, the higher the level of gal-3,hs-CRP.3.Gal-3 is an independent risk factor of coronary heart disease,gal-3 may provide a certain value for the prognosis of patients with coronary heart disease.
