Background: Coronary atherosclerosis heart disease(CHD),a kind of diseasethreatening human health seriously world widely,is the leading cause of mortality ofpeople in China. The research about hazard factors of CHD has become the medicalresearch focus. In recent years, some research has proved that serum β2-microglobulin(β2-MG) and high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) level are correlated tocoronary artery lesion severity, but the concrete findings and the research conclusionsare different respectively and there has not formed a more consistent conclusion. Inorder to demonstrate the value of cardiovascular risk factors,by using retrospectiveanalysis, this study is to explore the relationship between cardiac risk factors of CHDand characteristics of coronary artery lesion, and the relationship betweenβ2-ΜG,hs-CRP,which may be potential risk factors for CHD, and severity ofcoronary artery lesion. The study may be helpful for prevention and treatment ofcoronary heart disease. Objective: To observe the serum β2-MG,hs-CRP level changes in the patients and toexplore their correlation with Coronary heart disease and their roles in thedevelopment of coronary atherosclerosis. Methods: From March of2013to September of2013, a total of110consecutivepatients in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University with chestpain who underwent conronary angiography and calculated Gensini score wereenrolled in the study. According to the coronary angiography and clinicalmanifestation, all patients were divided into coronary artery disease (CAD) group andnon CAD (coronary angiography revealed no pathological change more than50%) as control group. CAD group70cases were divided into the single-vessel (27cases),double-vessel (28cases) and multiple-vessel(15cases) subgroups according tothe count of vascular lesion, and also divided into stable angina pectoris(SAP,34cases), unstable angina pectoris(UAP,24cases) and acute myocardial infarction(AMI,12cases) subgroups according to the type of CHD. After admitted to thehospital, the patients were fasting12hours, peripheral venous blood was collected onthe next morning, the serum samples were stored in-70℃temperature refrigerator.Blood β2-MG and hs-CRP levels were determined by immunoturbidimetry,Whiledetect TG (triglyceride), TC (total cholesterol), LDL-C (low density lipoproteincholesterol), HDL-C (high density lipoprotein cholesterol), and calculate body massindex (BMI),compare differences in the levels of serum beta2-MG、hs-CRP inCoronary heart disease group and the control group and coronary heart disease amongvarious subgroupswasd and explore the correlation with coronary heart disease(CHD).Results:①Serum β2-MG,hs-CRP levels were significantly higher (P <0.05) in theCAD group than those in non CAD group.②Serum β2-MG,hs-CRP levels rise withthe increase of the coronary artery lesion counts, the differences are statisticallysignificant among various subgroups in CAD group.③Serum β2MG,hs-CRP levelsincreased with the severity of CHD,significantly than in the SAP group and the UAPgroup, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.001,P <0.001), at the sametime, the serumβ2-MG,hs-CRP levels in the group UAP increased significantly than inthe SAP group.④The multiple regression analysis showed that serumβ2-ΜG,hs-CRPare independent risk factors of coronary heart disease.Conclusion:①Serum β2-MG may be more valuable than the hs-CRP as a risk factorfor coronary heart disease (CHD).②Serum β2-MG,hs-CRP levels in CHD groupincreased significantly, they are closely related to coronary artery lesions counts andthe degree of pathological changes,These indicators may have a certain significance inpredicting the severity of coronary artery lesion.③Serum β2-MG, hs-CRP levels inAMI and UAP groups were significantly higher than SAP group, suggest they may beimportant reference predictor of Coronary heart disease illness, two joint detection, can guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment better.
