Comparative Study Of The Effect Between Low-level Laser And RhEGF Gel On Healing Of Intraoral Incision In Patients With Sjogren's Syndrome

Objective:To compare the efficacy between low-level laser and rhEGF gel on the healing of oral incision in patients with Sjogren's syndrome(SS),it provides a theoretical basis for clinic work.Methods:Totally 180 impression diagnosed SS patients were randomly divided into 4groups,after labial gland biopsy and suture,45 cases in each group.Compound chlorhexidine gargle mouthwash in control group A,on the basis of Compound chlorhexidine gargle,rhEGF gel was used in experimental group B,low-level laser therapy in group C,and low-level laser local irradiation treatment while rhEGF gel smear wound in group D.The pain level,heal time of the incision and the ratio of occurrence rate of adverse reaction has been compared and observed after the treatment,and the healing quality of each group was compared after 2weeks.According to the pathological results,30 SS positive patients were randomly selected from the 4 groups for statistical analysis.Results: After treatment,the pain level of experimental group is lower than control group.After the first day of surgery and after the seventh day,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and control group.After the third day,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and comparing BC two groups and BD two groups,statistically significant difference(P<0.05)was found.low-level laser in the wound healing stage can significantly reduce the patient's pain,better than rhEGF gel.There was no significant difference between C and D.Compared with control group,the healing time difference of experimental group was statistically significant.By comparing BC two groups and BD two groups,statistically significant difference(P<0.05)was found.Low-level laser can shorten the wound healing time,compared with rhEGF gel time.There was no significant difference between C and D.After 7 days,the quality of healing difference between AB two groups and CD two groups was not meaningful in statistics,but there was statistically significant between AC,AD,BC and BD(P<0.05).After 2 weeks,the 4 groups compared with each other,there was no significant difference.Conclusions:Low-leve laser is effective in relieving pain,shorting the wound healing time,and improving the quality of healing,which have bettter results than rhEGF gel.The combination of the two have synergies in healing time,and there is no difference in alleviating pain and healing quality...
