Objective: To evaluate the influence and effects of Fracture Liaison Services(FLS)on medication adherence, quality of life, pain and refracture rate of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures patients, and to provide theoretical basis for the management of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures(OVCF)patients. Methods: In this study,a single blind, randomized controlled trial was used to collect OVCF patients who met the exclusion criteria from January 2017 to September 2017 by convenient sampling from the pain Department of a third Class Hospital in Guiyang City. They were divided into control group(63 cases)and intervention group(63 cases). The control group received routine perioperative nursing and 3 months follow-up.The intervention group accepted nursing intervention taking the FLS model as the frame,self-efficacy theory as the diriction and We Chat as the medium on the basis of the control group, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital nursing intervention.During hospitalization, direct experience was increased through joint development of action plans, acquisition of We Chat use skills, participation in functional training, and alternative experience was increased through the establishment of We Chat Group and Official account.Through the use of health education and electronic materials and psychological support to make verbal persuasion and regulation of emotional state towards patients; After discharge, through We Chat checking-in recording action plan to increase direct experience, through We Chat group experience exchange to increase alternative experience, through regular supervision and psychological intervention to make verbal persuasion and regulation of emotional state towards patients. On admission,discharge,1 month after discharge and 3 months after discharge,Morisky Medication Adherence Scale(MMAS-8),the MOS 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey(SF-36),Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)and the refracture rate, were separatly used to estimate medication adherence, quality of life, pain and re-fracture of patients 1 and 3 months post-discharge.SPSS21.0 software was used for data analysis. Results: A total of 117 patients were collected,59 in the intervention group and 58 in the control group. There was no difference in general data between the two groups(P>0.05).The results show that:(1)There was no difference in medication adherence between the two groups at discharge(P>0.05).The medication adherence of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group 1 and 3 months after discharge, and the difference was of statistical significant(P<0.05);(2)There was no difference in quality of life between the two groups at discharge(P>0.05).1 And 3 months after discharge, the quality of life in the intervention group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the difference was of statistical significant(P<0.05);(3)After intervention, the degree of pain in the intervention group, before and after discharge,1 and 3 months, was lower than the control group, the difference was of statistical significant(P<0.05);(4)After intervention, the rate of refracture in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, but the difference was of no statistical significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: The FLS can effectively alleviate the pain of OVCF patients, improve the medication adherence and quality of life of the patients after discharge from the hospital.However,short-term refracture rates after discharge from OVCF patients cannot be reduced. The FLS can providide an effective method for the management of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures patients.
