Objectives This study combines the clinical experience of the mentor,Treating Nerve Root Cervical Spondylosis with Experienced Modified Weihuo Parasitic Soup.By exploring its therapeutic mechanism,Observe differences in pain relief and improved function. It provides theoretical and experimental basis for Chinese medicine treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis. Methods Randomized single-blind clinical controlled trial,According to the 2015 “Expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis” and the diagnostic criteria in “Standards for the diagnosis and treatment of TCM syndromes”.Those who meet the requirements are included in this test.A total of 60 patients were included in the study and randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group and the control group received the basic treatment of traction and functional exercise. The treatment group was treated with Oral Supplemental Soup, and the control group was treated with Mecobalamin(Methylcobalamin Tablets)on the basis of basic treatment. The treatment course was 2 weeks,Statistical analysis and efficacy assessment were performed on the visual analogue scale(VAS),clinical symptoms and signs, and improvement of TCM syndrome scores before admission,at the end of one week of treatment, and at the end of two weeks of treatment. An Excel spreadsheet database was established. All measurement data were expressed as mean±standard deviation(x±s).SPSS23.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data, and the conclusion was reached. Results 1 Visual analogue scale(VAS): The VAS scores of both groups showed a decreasing trend before and after the treatment, regardless of the observation group or the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2 In terms of improvement of clinical symptoms and signs, there was no statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group before and after the end of the first course of treatment(P>0.05);other clinical symptoms were improved, and the observation group was improved.Better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 In the changes of TCM symptom scores, before and after treatment, the change scores of the TCM syndrome improvement scores in the observation group and the control group showed a decreasing trend, and the observation group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).4 Comparison of clinical efficacy rates between the two groups after treatment: The total effective rate in the observation group was 92.35%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 75.62%.Statistically,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions 1 Jiawei Duhuo parasitic soup treatment of nerve root cervical spondylosis can improve the patient's pain, promote functional recovery, improve quality of life.2 Jiawei Duhuo parasitic soup is more effective in treating cervical spondylotic myelopathy than Mecoblast(Methylcobalamin tablets),but the efficacy of both is similar in improving muscle strength.3 Jiawei Yihuo parasitic soup treatment of nerve root cervical spondylosis is an effective and safe treatment.
