Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of arthroscopic debridement combined with subacromial decompression for the treatment of shoulder impingement syndrome.Method:85 cases of patients with shoulder impingement syndrome were collected, and all the patients had shoulder joint pain, which was in accordance with the diagnosis of the shoulder impingement syndrome in physical examination and imaging examination. All patients underwent arthroscopic debridement and subacromial decompression. This operation is to completely remove the subacromial bursa, flatten the hyperplasia of the acromion by using shaver and power drill. The effect was evaluated by using UCLA,ASES and FUSS scoring system before and after operation.Result:All patients were followed up for 1~6 months. The scores of UCLA,ASES and FUSS before operation were20.89±2.08?41.45±9.33 and 41.25±6.43.The scores of the final follow-up were 31.26±1.10?91.00±5.36 and 89.25±4.73.The scores were compared before and after the operation according to the diverse scoring systems, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Arthroscopic debridement combined with subacromial decompression is an effective method for the treatment of shoulder impingement syndrome.
