The thesis reported chemical constituents on two kinds of medicinal plants in Yunnan province,Uncaria macrophylla,Ficus hookeriana.Totally 40 compounds were isolated by silica gel chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 chromatography and reversed-phase chromatography from the two plants.The chemical structures of these compounds were identified by modern spectroscopic analysis combined with their physico-chemical data.14 compounds were isolated and identified from the twigs of Uncaria macrophylla.Structure types included triterpenes,sterol,flavonoids,coumarins and simple aromatics.The identified compounds were ursolic acid(1),oleanolic acid(2),2?-hydro-xyursolic acid(3),lupenone(4),?-sitosterol(5),daucosterol(6),epicatechin(7),3-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl)-5,7-dihydroxychroman-4-one(8),scopoletin(9),ethyl 3,4-dihydroxybenzoate(10),vanillic acid(11),1,3,5-trimethoxybenzene(12),1,2:4,5-di-o-isoproylidene-?-D-fructopyranose(13),mannitol(14).Compounds 8,12,13 and 14 were firstly isolated from the genus.Compounds 8,12,13 and 14 were separated from Uncaria macrophylla for the first time.26 compounds were isolated and identified from the twigs and leaves of Ficus hookeriana.The types of structure were included triterpenes,sterol,flavonoids,coumarins,amides,simple aromatic compounds,fatty acids,etc.The identified compounds were ursolic acid(15),?-amyrin(16),betulinic acid(17),lupenone(18),(3?)-lup-20(29)-en-3-yl stearate(19),?-sitosterol(20),daucosterol(21),5,7,3`,4`-tetrahydroxy-3-methoxyflavone(22),fustin(23),prunetin(24),5-hydroxy-7,4`-dimethoxyisoflavone(25),1,2:4,5-di-O-isoproylidene-?-D-fructopyranose(26),1,2-O-isopropylidene-?-D-giucofuranose(27),4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde(28),protocatechuic acid(29),scopoletin(30),N-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)decanamide(31),succinic acid(32),2,3-dihydroxysuccinamide(33),benzamide(34),ceramide(35),octacosanol(36),plamitic acid(37),stearic acid(38),n-octacos-9-enyl propionate(39),triolein(40).Compounds 19,26,27,31-35 were firstly isolated from the genus.All compounds were separated from Ficus hookeriana for the first time.The third chapter of the article reviewed the known chemical components and known pharmacological activities of Ficus plants and reviews the names,structures,pharmacological activities,sources,and references of nearly 140 compounds.
