Objective:Serum catestatin(CST)and N-terminal fragment of pro-brain sodium peptides(NT-terminal pro-brain sodium peptides)in patients with chronic heart failure classified by different NYHA classifications were examined by test.-ProBNP concentration, analysis of the value of CST to guide the relevant diagnostic indicators of clinical diagnosis of CHF patients. Methods:A total of 40 patients with CHF diagnosed in the Cardiology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2017 to January 2018 were screened, and 40 healthy people were selected as normal controls during the same period. The concentration of serum CST was measured in CHF patients and normal controls, and relevant clinical data were collected.Firstly, whether there is a statistical difference between the CST concentrations in the normal control group and the CHF group. Then, according to the clinical symptoms of the patients with chronic heart failure, the CHF group was classified according to NYHA functional class and divided into NYHA heart function I.Grade(n=9),NYHA Class II(n=11),NYHA Class III(n=10),NYHA Class IV(n=10),comparing left ventricular ejection fraction(left)Concentrations of ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),NT-proBNP,and CST were determined by PEARSON correlation analysis to determine the relationship between CST concentration and NT-proBNP.The receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC curve)was used to evaluate the CST pair. The diagnostic value of clinical indicators of CHF patients was finally grouped according to different NYHA levels and whether there was a statistical difference between the CST concentrations in each group. Results:The serum CST level in the CHF group was significantly higher than that in the normal control group.Wilcoxon rank sum test showed a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The CHF group was divided into four groups based on the NYHA functional classification criteria. The LVEF,NT-proBNP,and CST in each group were compared. The results showed that there were significant differences between the LVEF,NT-proBNP,and CST groups in different NYHA functional class CHF patients(P=<0.05,<0.05,<0.05).Using PEARSON correlation analysis to study the correlation between CST and NT-proBNP,the correlation coefficient was 0.728,P<0.05,suggesting that the correlation between them was statistically significant and positively correlated. The area under the ROC curve in the diagnosis of chronic heart failure in CHF patients was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the area was 0.98.The CHF group was divided into four groups according to the NYHA classification.Statistical analysis was performed on the clinical data collected by the four different NYHA patients. The results showed that patients with different NYHA classifications were age, sex,BNI,smoking history, history of hypertension, and diabetes.History, history of coronary heart disease, total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein(high density lipoprotein)There was no significant difference between groups(cholesterol,HDL-C),creatinine,etc.(P>0.05).NT-proBNP showed a significant difference between NT-proBNP groups in patients with different NYHA grades between the four groups(P<0.05),comparing serum CST between the four groups showed that the difference in serum CST between patients with different NYHA classification was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The serum CST level in CHF patients was significantly higher than that in the normal control group. The level of serum CST has certain clinical diagnostic value for CHF patients with heart failure. In different NYHA-classified CHF patients classified according to NYHA classification, the serum CST concentration levels showed a certain degree of difference, and there is a certain diagnostic guidance for the clinical diagnosis of heart failure in CHF patients with different NYHA classification.
