Objective:To investigate the alleosis of plasma concentration of N-terminal (NT) pro-brainnatriuretic peptide (proBNP) and Interleukin-17(IL-17) by mensurating the indices ofIL-17and NT-proBNP with chronic heart failure. To study the variability ofbefore-mentioned indeces between different serum sodium level groups and the correlationbetween serum sodium and before-mentioned indeces. We also investigated the effect ofIL-17on myocardial fibrosis in this model. Our study demon-strates the contribution ofIL-17to myocardial fibrosis,in isoproterenol-induced HF. Interventions can be carried outas soon as possible from the cytokine, thereby delaying the occurrence and development ofheart failure. Methods:To evaluate the relationship involving serum sodium concentration and plasmaconcentration of NT-proBNP and IL-17, we identified70patients with congestive heartfailure in department of cardiology of Liaocheng Pepole’s Hospital from January,2012toDecember,2012. According to NYHA classification, they were reassigned to2subgroups:NYHAⅢgroup (32patients) and NYHA Ⅳ group (38patients). According to serumsodium level, they were reassigned to2subgroups: hyponatremia group (31patients) andnormal serum sodium group (39patients).35cases of normal heart function wereidentified as the control group. Baseline data were collated for all selected patients. TheNT-proBNP and IL-17level of all selected were detected and compared according tobefore-mentioned groups using statistical analysis and chart forms. Results:①Serum NT-proBNP and IL-17concentration were increased as the NYHA class ofheart failure increased,Normal heart function with NYHA Ⅲ group of patients:NT-proBNP(420±256vs7780±6393P<0.001)、IL-17(3.53±2.05vs8.65±3.05P<0.001);NYHA Ⅲ and NYHAⅣ group of patients:NT-proBNP(7780±6393vs13704±10945P<0.01)、IL-17(8.65±3.05vs21.1±10.6P<0.001).②After excluding the influence of heartfunction, Serum NT-proBNP and IL-17level in patients with hyponatremia wassignificantly higher than that in patients with normal serum sodium concentration:NT-proBNP (14958±9691vs8107±5720P<0.01)、 IL-17(19.23±12.46vs9.9±6.2P<0.001):③Serum sodium level was negative correlated with NT-proBNP and IL-17(r=一0.345,P<0.01;r=0.369P<0.01).Conclusion:1.With the NYHA classification increased, the serum NT-proBNP and IL-17concentration in patients wit demonstrate h chronic heart failure increased, regardless ofthe serum sodium level. It demonstrate that NT-proBNP and IL-17both played animportant role in the development of heart failure. So they could be used to assess the stateof disease. The brain natriuretic peptide is a reliable index to estimate the degree andprognosis in patients with heart failure which has been used widely. The experimentalresults show that the levels of Interleukin-17and brain natriuretic peptide level in parallelelevated, which descript that the interleukin-17can also be used to assess the degree andprognosis of heart failure and serum IL-17levels can be used as the judgment conditionindex in patients with congestive heart failure one of the effective index.2. Serum NT-proBNP and IL-17level in the hyponatremia group were significantlyhigher than that in the normal serum sodium group. That is to say, NT-proBNP and IL-17had negative correlation with serum sodium level. The study means that IL-17may play animportant role in the progress of heart failure during myocardial Remodeling.Significance:The result of this topic will help cellular signal transduction pathways aspects,Furtherelaborated from the cell-mediated immunity in the pathogenesis of heart failure. Interven-tions can be carried out as soon as possible from the cytokine,Thereby delaying theoccurrence and development of heart failure,To develop a new theoretical perspective forthe treatment of heart failure and provide a new theoretical basis.
