BackgroundWith the improvement of living standard, people have higher requirements on the quality of life, which is also reflected in the pursuit of the quality of sexual life.Erectile dysfunction,as one of the complications of male diabetic patients, has been paid more and more attention.Long term erectile can cause serious anxiety in male patients easily, and even lead to a sense of inferiority and failure.Anxiety, inferiority, failure and many other disease also associated with depression. At present, the relationship between depression and diabetes has become one of the research hot spots.A number of domestic and foreign epidemiological data show that patients with depression has higher proportion of diabetesthan non depressed patients, diabetic patients has a higher proportion of diabetes with depression compared with non-diabetic patients with depression, and compared with pure diabetes, the incidence of erectile dysfunction is higher. The comorbidity mechanism of depression and diabetic erectile dysfunction is not completely clear, there is a big reciprocal causation between them.Erectile dysfunction in patients with depression may be one of the symptoms of depression.Besides,It is also may caused by adverse drug reactions during treatment; The patients with diabetic erectile dysfunction may suffer from depression because of negative psychological depression. However, some studies have shown that obviously there are some common biological abnormalities between diabetic erectile dysfunction and depression, but overall,to study the correlation between the two is less common, the risk of diabetic erectile dysfunction and depression factors also need to be further clear.ObjectiveTo study the analysis of diabetic erectile dysfunction and depression comorbid conditions, for the future clinical treatment of diabetic erectile dysfunction and depression to provide more basis, improve the quality of life of patients.Selection methodsFrom April 2013-July 2015,a total of 96 cases treated by men with diabetes were divided into only ED group(n=28,IIEF-5?21 score and DEPI<0.5)and ED with depression group(n=68,IIEF-5?21 score and DEPI?0.5)according to the assessment and grading results, then the clinical data, biochemical indexes and sex hormones levels were selected and compared between two groups. And the ED with depression group were divided into mildly to mild depression subgroup(n=18),medium to severe depression subgroup(n=30)and major depression subgroups(n=20)according to the DEPI levels, and the sex hormones levels were compared among three subgroups.Correlation between DEPI levels and other index were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors for ED patients with depression.SPSS 17.0 software was used to process the experimental data,P<0.05 had statistical significance. The measurement data in T,F and?~2 test.Results(1)Diabetic erectile dysfunction and depression comorbidity rate is as high as70.83%(68/96);(2)The age,DM course,BMI,incidence of diabetic retinopathy, and diabetic neuropathy, and smoking rate were higher in ED with depression group than in only ED group(P<0.05);(3)Compared with in only ED group, the levels of FPG,PPG,HbA1c,FIns and HOMA-IR were increased(P<0.05);(4)The levels of T were lower,LH and FSH were higher in ED with depression group than in only ED group(P<0.05);(5)There was no statistical significance on lipid and hepatorenal function between ED with depression group and only ED group(P>0.05);(6)With the increase of level of DEPI,the levels of T were reduced, the LH and FSH were increased among three subgroups(P<0.05);(7)Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum DEPI level was positively correlated with FPG,FIns,HbA1c,BMI,HOMA-IR and TT(r=0.371,0.581,0.658,0.677,0.653,0.382,0.455,0.746,P=0.041,0.015,0.002,0.004,0.002,0.044,0.020,0.000);(8)Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age,DM course and T level were risk factors for DMED patients with depression.ConclusionThe diabetic erectile dysfunction in patients with depression related paper discusses influencing factors,is conducive to make accurate diagnosis for the diabetic ED merge depression patients, and to take effective measures to improve the prognosis and improve patient's quality of life.
