The Study Of The Oral Health Of Patients With Different Levels Of Protein Energy Consumption In Maintenance Hemodialysis.

Objective: Epidemiological cross-sectional survey was conducted to understand the oral state of the patients with different levels of protein-energy wasting(PEW).Methods:This study selects the first affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university,hotan region people's hospital,the autonomous region infectious disease hospital,yili prefecture hospitals,kelamayi center hospital,ili hospital,once.during hospital,ili xinyuan county hospital eight course center,conform to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria for 564 cases of hemodialysis patients,aged 52(+ 34),according to the PG-SGA standard are divided into different levels of protein,energy consumption for oral health assessment index questionnaire survey,to evaluate oral status.Results:(1)In the non-pew study,there were 0 times of brush teeth,3.6 percent of the teeth,10.3 percent of the patients with moderate and moderate PEW,and 14.0 percent of the patients with severe PEW,and the highest proportion in the severe PEW.(2)For oral problems can not be timely medical treatment is the primary cause of cost and burden,accounting for 12.6% of patients without the PEW,18.1% patients with mild-to-moderate PEW,39.5% of patients with severe PEW,the highest proportion of patients with severe PEW.The second reason for not being able to see a doctor was the fear of treatment,which was 6.5 percent for non-pew patients,15.2 percent for light and moderate PEW,and 14.0 percent for severe PEW patients.(3)In the surveyed 564 patients,278 cases,of the PEW was beset oral problems mainly has bad breath,or halitosis(23.0%),dry mouth(27.3%),gum swelling(5.0%),gingival bleeding(7.2%).Severe PEW43 cases were mainly caused by bad breath or bad breath(58.1%),followed by dry mouth(45.5%),gingival swelling(20.9%)and gingival bleeding(18.6%).Conclusion:PEW patients have many oral problems and severe symptoms,which are related to the number of times they brush their teeth,but they do not cause enough attention.
