The Research Of The Cognition And Influencing Factors Of Pulmonary Rehabilitation In Patients With COPD In Partial Areas Of Hunan Province

Objective:By investigating the cognition of pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in some areas of Hunan Province,we can know about the current status of pulmonary rehabilitation in Hunan Province,and then further analyze the relevant influencing factors that can provide scientific recommended measures to improve the patients' awareness of pulmonary rehabilitation.Methods : This research used a multi-stage randomized-cluster sampling method.From December 2016 to December 2017,the respiratory departments of five tertiary hospitals which were randomly selected from 13 prefecture-level cities and 1 autonomous states in Hunan Province as investigation points.And then selected patients who met the COPD diagnosis in the hospital within 3 days as research object.There were toltal 360 valid questionnaires collected.The research tool used a self-made questionnaire “Cognitive Questionnaieon Pulmonary Rehabilitation Treatment for Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease”.The data was analyzed by SPSS 23.0 software.The specific methods included descriptive statistical analysis,reliability analysis,validity analysis,Chisquare test,Mann-Whitney u test and Logistic regression analysis.Results:?COPD patients had poor knowledge of coginition of their own disease.Among them,32.5% had heard of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,73.1% had heard of chronic bronchitis or emphysema,76.1% of patients did not know that they needed long-term regular treatment,only 16.1% of patients did regular visits to the doctor.?COPD patients had poor knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation and have a lower participation rate.Among them,83.9 % of the patients had not heard or did not know about pulmonary rehabilitation.13.6% of patients had heard but did not understand.Only 2.5% of patients knew about pulmonary rehabilitation.The ways to know it are health education of medical personnel,television or radio health lectures,health newspapers,and related books and magazines.Treadmills,walking,breathing exercises,balloon blowing,and whistling arethe most learned methods of pulmonary rehabilitation.Eighty-three percent of patients said that medical staff never mentioned pulmonary rehabilitation at the time of treatment;only 8.3% of patients received pulmonary rehabilitation treatment.?Age,employment status,education level,medical insurance,ability to pay for medical expenses,economic status,number of years of illness,number of hospitalizations in the past year,awareness of their own diseases,Living conditions and whether the medical staff recommend pulmonary rehabilitation therapyfor patients(as the education of medical staff)can affect the cognition of pulmonary rehabilitation.The degree of education,economic status and Does pulmonary rehabilitation was recommended by doctors(as the education of medical staff)are the main influencing factors among of them.Conclusion:?COPD patients which in partial areas of Hunan Province have poor cognitive abilities for pulmonary rehabilitation.Many factors influence their knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation.Among of them,the degree of education,economic status and whether the medical staff recommend pulmonary rehabilitation therapyfor patients(as the education of medical staff)are the main influencing factors...
